I ordered the white chicken chili with bread which was incredibly good! The problem was with the Buffalo Mac and cheese- the chicken was perfectly sauced not too overbearing but flavorful but the macaroni was TERRIBLE. It was so overcooked that it looks like mashed potatoes! I ended up just picking the chicken out and throwing away the rest so it was quite a waste. Definitely not my first choice of places to go in the future.
I usually make my salad and it's great! I love the sweet potato bits I think that you get better flavor when they have been sitting longer rather than straight fresh out of the oven. Ik it sounds crazy, but trust me!Food: 5/5
Great place for a healthier meal. It's quick enough to grab for lunch, plenty of variety, tastes great, and at a reasonable cost. Plenty of options for a low carb / keto mealDine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
The food felt fresh and ingredients nice. The portions were small. I got the Sriracha ginger tofu and it was okay. The sauce was tasty but it didn't feel like a complete meal. The broccoli cheddar soup was disgusting, worse I've ever had. Overall okay experience. Vegetarian options: Main vegetarian option was the Sriracha ginger tofu. Dietary restrictions: Very dietary friendly, gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options.
One of the best spots in Ann Arbor for a wholesome, healthy meal! Reminds me of a more customizable, and creative version of chipotle. Pros: lots of signature bowls and make your own bowls!, affordable, lots of healthy options, nice employees Cons: the noodles in the Thai peanut bowl today were very hard surprising because I’ve never had this issue before, location isn’t ideal for most students in Ann Arbor but that’s barely a real con PRO TIP: get the core life app for $5 off first order! Highly recommend! The flavors have never disappointed and I always go here after one too many unhealthy meal
Great selection. Restaurant physical layout design is similar to chipotle but much wider selection of food on the menu. Mostly fresh bowls, salads, soups, and tacos. We ordered the Thai chicken bowl and three different tacos. All the food was well seasoned and cooked to order.
Absolutely wonderful! I don't come to Ann Arbor/Ypsi area often, but I did have to spend my summer in the area for a training program I was a part of. I didn't think I would ever return to the area, but I definitely will take a special trip to come here! The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was a dream come true! They have a wide variety of options that I will look forward to coming back and trying. Very high quality. The service was freaky fast, and prices weren't bad either. Even if the food was pricey, it would be worth every penny! Thank you.
We went and tried CoreLife today for a late lunch. Marña was so helpful in explaining things options, taste, styles to us and we had a great experience.
Please update the signage! The food is good but it doesn't say sweet potato Buddha has sweet potato, but the meat dishes tend to list the meat. This is confusing for your customers and your workers know it. Corporate, buy them a sign. Rated 1 temporarily star to get your attention
We just had dinner for the 1st time at the newly opened CoreLife Eatery located in Ann Arbor’s Westgate Shopping Center. They have many healthy options, including salads and bowls... they offer suggested bowls, plus build-your-own options — more than any other spot in town. Because it is a new place I am willing to try it a few times to give them time to get everything right. I ordered the Korean barbecue pork rice bowl, only they ran out of pork so we substituted beef. The steak in my bowl was warm, not hot. The food assembly was good until the last station, they forgot to add the house made BBQ sauce. And I only noticed that because the bowl was rather dry. So I had to go back for that. The beef was well done and a bit chewy. The drinks are all natural and quite refreshing. Everything is competitively priced. All in all it was a better than average experience with room for some improvements. Next time I’ll try the Cobb salad and see if I can adjust my rating up.
