First time visit, order the lunch special and it was ready in less than 60 seconds. Got a generous 9” fillet that tasted fantastic and was cooked perfect, as well as the fries. And it was only eight bucks!
30+ years of eating at Sal's . Sal's has been a weekly family tradition going back to my great grandparents that where customers since they opened, The Quality Hasn't changed one bit, That Perfect Flakey Flavor, That Crunchy Goodness. There's just no other place like Sal's , DO yourself the favor and get some real flavor at Sal's , not the other guys that tastes like a dirty deep fryer
Soo good basic but good batter. Great prices dinner is 3 meals for the price of 1. Shrimp and cocktail sauce good as well! Hate that they're only open on Fridays!
Went out of my way to try "the best" fish sandwich.lol...It was very busy in there so I just assumed everything would be hot and fresh. I ordered the lunch special, fish sandwiche and fries. I ate it in my car in the adjacent parking lot. The fries were soggy and not even warm??! The fish was just ok, but mostly bun. Only barley warm and a little soggy as well.. in my opinion definitely not worth going out of your way for. Perhaps an off day for them? I may try one more time if I am in the area when they are open. I will update review when/if that happens.
Visiting from out of town a d just happened upon this place. I will recommend to others from now on. Generous portion / delicious
Picked up fish & coleslaw for Good Friday dinner, line moves fast, .fish, my husband's favorite coleslaw
Best seafood around. Been coming here for years and years, and look forward to many many more.
I've enjoyed Sal's Seafood since I found them 15+ years ago. As times have been changing and prices are going up everywhere I've seen the increase at Sal's but not like other places. Yes, the Special isn't $5.00 anymore but for a few dollars more you can expect to get a good filling delicious fish sandwich with fries. I think they have excellent onion rings and plenty other option on the menu. I do also like the fact they don't salt their fries and really do enjoy them just as they come.
Great customer Service. The fish sandwich special always delicious, never greasy. I have tried other Seafood restaurants in the area, but none compare to Sal's. Keep up the good work. Cheers
I know they're trying to keep the cost down but nowadays A lot of people aren't using cash they do more business as well if they would just start accepting bank cards too
