We'd give 10 stars if we could. Finding a right church is so important to feed one's soul/faith, like finding the right restaurant for the stomach! We literally discovered St Patrick's accidentally while touring Ottawa. Whereas other churches we had visited in the area felt short, Pastor Fr. Steven really welcomed people in his genuine/friendly/warm ways! He even introduced his rescued dog to us . Though the church isn't air conditioned, Fr. Steve is really cool in his style! See for yourself and God bless!
I came to visit Ottawa, and I wanted to participate in the Mass. I chose this church because they offered the Mass at 7 pm on Sunday. I can say the Church is beautiful
We are so blessed to have such a beautiful basilica in Ottawa. Absolutely love the weekday morning services, Father message is always powerful and enlightening, and the Eucharistic prayers so moving it’s the most perfect way to start the day. Easter vigil this year was also incredibly powerful. I’ll miss it when I have to split my time between Ottawa and Toronto in the fall. Thank you so grateful for the gift of your presence in our community. Thank you to the priest and staff of St-Patrick's your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed.
The inside of Saint Patrick Basilica is spectacular, with beautiful stained glass windows and complex architectural elements. The grand vaulted ceilings provide a feeling of majesty and reverence. A must-see for anybody who values historical beauty and spiritual ambiance.
Wonderful church, not too small and not too big. Love it.
