Saint Alphonsus Medical Center Nampa

First class care nicest nurses and techs. would recommend! If your looking for something more then urgent care but don't want to go to the big hospital on garriety this is the place to go!

I’m currently laying with my mom in this hospital and I have never experienced anything like it before. Most of the staff has been very rude and treated my mother like she doesn’t have a problem. She doesn’t have use of either hand and they come in and hand her medicine and expect her to just figure it out. They have told her that she can put her own linen away and told her she needs to do that to make their jobs easier. Also the lack of communication between the staff to other staff and the staff to patients is absurd and utterly astonishing. Not telling anyone you are going to preform surgery and just showing up to take the patient away without ever contacting the family. Preforming painful MRI’s and never coming in to speak with the patient abour the resaults. Furthermore the surgeon never came to speak with us. Needless to say if you are going to use ST Alphonsus go to Boise.

My experience with St Al's has always been very positive! Better than the hospitals in Reno, NV by leaps and bounds. I will always give St Al's two thumbs up!

My daughter had a concussion at school last week, but her info was never faxed to the place I was told by the dr to where she would need a follow up appointment. I was given multiple phone numbers to call, was on the phone for almost an hour being told I need to speak with different departments, finally told to call a department that I had already spoken with...? No one knows what is going on over there, and I don't think it should be anyone's job but theirs to make sure paper work gets faxed. I wish it wasn't a concussion because I can't be on the phone all day talking to people who don't have a clue but am not sure how to get an appointment scheduled for my daughter with out a referral from this place!

Quite possibly the worst place in the world when it comes to helping with billing questions. They are vultures for money but when it comes to asking questions about your bill they will give you the run around and send you 50,000 different places that are the wrong numbers for places that don't even have anything to do with your bill. Also their care was below average. The only reason I have anything to do with st. als anymore is because Dr. Wheaton is amazing! Other than that we will no forever be st. Lukes pts! Maybe instead of spending all of the money on a fancy new hospital they could have spent some on their employees edict towards customers.
