Parking is very tight here, so be extremely careful where you park. The spots are narrow, and if someone opens their door carelessly, your car will definitely get a mark.nProduce quality is the biggest downside. Every time I shop here for Instacart, I end up replacing 10+ items per order due to poor or rotten produce. I’d honestly give 2/5 for produce quality. Not sure why spoiled produce is being stocked on the shelves in the first place.nOn the positive side, the associates are good—friendly, helpful, and easy to approach when you need assistance. That part is appreciated.nI’ve seen many comments about the security guard… lol and yes, they’re accurate—but to be fair, they’re just doing their job.nOverall: decent staff, frustrating produce quality, and stressful parking. Improvements in produce management would make a big difference.
Ì mean you truly can not be disappointed with the prices that they have at any no frills location. I like to come here for the cheap produce and merchandise options of which are brought in on a weekly or less delivery basis. As when you go to purchase items with a longer shelf life y I u will find them pushing close to their expiration date. With this you can find stale items, which normally wouldnt be. Ive found this with quake granola bars, some cereal and even canned goods which were of an odd consistency.
I am extremely disappointed with No Frills. On Monday, September 22, between 1:21 pm and 1:37 pm, I shopped at your store, and despite being a legitimate customer, I received a parking ticket of $126.50.nnThis is outrageous and feels like a scam against customers. You can easily verify this by checking your cameras and confirming that I was inside your supermarket during that time.nnInstead of treating shoppers with respect, your store is penalizing them with unfair and possibly illegal fines. Shame on you, No Frills.nnI will be filing a formal complaint to Consumer Protection BC so that your business practices are investigated for unlawful actions. No customer should ever be punished for shopping at the store they are supporting.
I wanted to go to the dollar store for some pasta and popcorn. I ended up going to No Frills, as it was the only place I could find parking. I ended up spending over $30 on a few items, though I noted that the prices were more expensive than Superstore. There were long line-ups at the tills, though the store itself seemed to have more staff than shoppers. I paid for my groceries and went toward the exit. Suddenly I felt a hand grab my grocery bag violently from behind. To my shock and surprise, it was a security guard trying to steal my groceries. He only let go after I started making a lot of noise and resisting. This left me feeling rattled all day. I will NEVER go there again!
I was in line waiting to check out at this No Frills on Friday January 31, 2026 when I overheard the Caucasian cashier and the Caucasian customer in front of me having a rather passionate, racist conversation. The cashier looked to be in her 70s, bad dye job resembling a Trump-orange said snarkily, “You know, we’re the minority now”. And when the white customer responded with, “Yah every time I see them on the TV I just ughh *shudder”, the cashier emphatically agreed and added her own commentary in the affirmative. It is disheartening to know that such a racist individual works in a neighbourhood store likely owned by a minority too! whose main demographic is people of colour, many of whom are disadvantaged. It is amusing that people like this cashier continue to demonize actual minorities instead of taking responsibility for their own personal failures. What a privilege and embarrassment it is to live such a life of ignorance and delusion! Anyway have fun working on cash when you’re 80, DEANNA!
