Sahota’s No Frills

I wasn't very impressed with this location. First off, it was difficult to find/get a shopping cart. Secondly, they didn't even have in stock the main thing I went there for...2 litre A&W diet/zero sugar root beer bottles. I also noticed that their prices are much higher than stores I go elsewhere in Surrey and elsewhere. 3rd I asked to use the bathroom. Was told over by I think aisle 9. But I've never been in that store before, so that was really vague. Next, I find it, but realize that despite it having a code-like looking device on the door, I needed to go back to the front of the store to get a key...nI looked for another item that I wanted to buy, but couldn't find it there, despite buying it in other stores. I was so disappointed with this experiences, that I decided to leave this store location, and buy nothing. I also didn't use the bathroom, since they are so disorganized. I'll never go back to do any business at this location because it is the worst No Frills location that I have ever been to in almost 40 years.

Its seems unlikely you'd be scheduled to patrol and KEEP circling the last 4 aisles i was shopping in with my younger sibling, walk by us a few times, and then stand by the registers as i PAID for ALL the groceries i BOUGHT and then packed up. This is so tiring, why are most security guards like this. I was dressed normal, acted normal, i was clean, and obviously sober. If you have shopped at this location you'd know intoxicated people steal from here, but no I was the one followed. I was even on the phone with my mother talking about the right groceries to buy. Racial profiling when you're more brown than me, make it make sense.

Prices are pretty decent and the staff is helpful. I think the turnover is such that staff is not always super knowledgeable but they definitely try - and that’s good enough for me. I wonder what happened to Mike the name changed to Arkee

A good option but where are all the carts? This is a profoundly dumb move if they were intentionally removed - not just from a financial point of view but also from an accessibility standpoint. A lot of people rely on them. If there’s some issue with cart thefts it needs to be better addressed.

Amazing prices. And honestly the most beautiful and well taken care of no frills in Vancouver. The staff at the tills are not always the most friendly though. Hence the four star. I'm guessing that this comes from the colorful clientele that comes through. But regardless, let's get a little conversation.
