Safeway Liquor Burquitlam

I bought a Foxe beer, and the price on the shelf was $2.99; when I got my receipt, I realized they charged me $3.73 per beer. When I asked the cashier about the overcharging. she said they put the beer on the wrong shelf, and the right price was $3.73. I got scammed, and If I had known the price, I would not buy that beer.

I asked the part-timer if he knew where the beer I was looking for, but he didn't even look at me and didn't answer. Liquor store isn't just here, and of course I'll never go again, but if you keep looking for these stupid, rude part-timers, your store will be hit hard.

They had a lovely staff and the previous manager was lovely ! Apparently they have a new manager, blondish hair, 50-60’s did not catch her name but watch out for her, she was obnoxiously VULGAR. She charged at us with NO welcoming and started yelled and POINTING HER fingers at me. Absolutely NO 101 customer service skills which should be common sense, a young child has more etiquette than her. She is a disgraced to BC liquor SOBEYS. I come here for the convenience but her actions have been taken away from my convenience. I will give my business to online services. Head office should record and video tape what happens daily in the store.

Only downfall is it is so small inside. They do great with a lil space tho. Staff is nice.

many choices and helpful staff! I've bought too many cans of beer today and the gentleman helped me to take the beer to my car! I even didn't ask him to do so!!!! Sorry I forget to ask his name. But it really helps a lot! Thanks!

Every time I walk into the store, I am greeted with hello’s and even by name. Staff is a great bunch of fun people. They are always ready to help you find what you want. They even help customers out by carrying out their purchases to the vehicle.

The people here are so friendly!! I live close by and go to this store pretty often. The people working are always nice and Safeway has pretty decent prices. As a foreigner, the people at Safeway are always kind to me while the people at BC Liqour are typically rude to me.

I visited this store for the first time recently. Was pleasantly surprised to see a liquor store with the Safeway name well, we are in Canada!. Anyway, they had what I wanted at a decent price in a convenient location, and the staff were friendly...what more does one need to buy booze? ...oh ya. Open til 11...and on holidays? Check! 5 stars.
