Came here for late night dinner after a night out, we ordered a burger, a brisket sandwich, and St. Safari for drink. The brisket sandwich was so tiny, but the meat was tender and tasty. The fries was amazing! The burger was good as well. They need to improve their bread, though. When the check came in, my husband noticed price discrepancy for brisket sandwich, it’s showing $17.95 while the menu says $15.95. When we asked the server, she gave me a blurb saying the manager just left yada yada but she’ll see what she can do about it. A few moments later she came back and told us “They said they can’t do anything about it, the menu is ‘outdated’, it’s just a $2 difference anyway.” She also handed us another menu that I don’t know what its for. Now, I understand it might not be her fault, but saying “it’s just a $2 difference anyway”? Since it’s just $2, why can’t the place do something about it then? It’s not a matter of how much the difference is, but it’s a breach of trust. The price in their menu is what they advertised, yet they sneakily spiked up their price. If you happen to come here anyway, remember to review your check, it’s not gonna make any difference since they won’t do anything about it anyway, but at least you can help others by reminding them to never, ever come to this place.
Always great service and food. Cool safari theme and vibe is a bonus. Try the flat bread; Farnham and brisket options are both Tasty! Update - now a fan of the Dungeness crab and avocado salad as well
We had the pleasure of celebrating two 21st birthday runs two weekends in a row . First, I have to say our server was absolutely amazing . She made sure our table was attended too and that we had all that we needed throughout the night. Was greeted the returning weekend with her remembering us and with a smile. We had 9 total in our party and each of us ordered a couple of appetizers/dinner plates and a few drinks each. All the food came out at the same time which was impressive. The food was very tasty and the birthday cheesecake was to die for. Would definitely return.
We sat next to a blind couple, to see the wait staff take care of this couple was incredibly sweet! You could tell this couple had been visiting for years. It showed by how they were able to assist them so graciously! We also had pretty good service but to see the care for the elderly blind couple showed the level of compassion your staff possesses! Way to impress… Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
We tried the hummus it was very bland and uneventful. My wife ordered the ribs and they were super super dried out and not edible. Cocktail was good server was good overall this place could be fantastic if they would fire everybody in the kitchen and just start over.Food: 1/5

There's no longer a happy hour here! It used to be my favorite Spokane happy hour. But the drinks are strong and delicious, and the flatbread is amazing. Just really wish it was half price.
One of the bar tenders, Austin, is amazing. He made me feel welcomed and was on top of his game with the drinks I ordered. He even suggested some drinks that are now my favorite drinks thus far. I’ll be coming back for his service.
Dionne our ambassador of awesome food. Was a pleasant surprise. We had the Angus burger and the brisket sandwich. Burger was perfect..on the verge of well done but not.... Juicy, tender loaded with flavor and cheddar cheese. My brisket sandwich was tender and moist. The bbq sauce comes on the side with coleslaw. The Bbq sauce is top of the line..just a little bite at end. It's so good the wife put some on her burger. We split a ceasar salad and couldn't finish it. It's a good sized salad. The cougar gold is just plain awesome. Drinks were good..atmosphere was nice and pleasant. We will be coming back again. Most excellent job to the people of the safari room.
Disappointed to have to leave a bad review about this place I had high hopes because I've heard good things BUT we made a reservation for dinner and had to wait in a line to be seated. Once seated we didn't have enough cutlery for all of us had to ask for more, I ordered an old fashioned to drink and instead of a big gentlemens ice cube it was filled with small ice cubes and was watered down within 1 minute. I ordered the french onion soup for a starter $11 not even exaggerating it tasted like a beef top ramen packet with a few onions and cheese that wasn't melted. Got the New york strip steak, veggies and mashed potatoes $40 which is always my "go to" when on a limited menu. The steak had SO much hard fat on it and was also overly salty, the broccolini was HARD not just a bit crunchy I mean HARD and the piece that wasn't hard tasted extremely over cooked and tasted like fish. The mashed potatoes were just very bland and boring. Normally for this meal the price wouldn't bother me in the slightest that'd actually be very cheap if it tasted great but for the quality being not even on par with Denny's there's no way I could pay for my plate. Fortunately they did take my whole meal off the bill but I highly do not recommend eating here and I will not be back. Merry Christmas.. Now time to cook at home because I'm still hungry!
