This was a great place to eat! The waitress was courteous and helpful. We ordered their lunch specials and a side of cream cheese wantons. The plants and greenery of the walls reminded us of the sidewalk restaurants in NYC during COVID. Very decorative and pleasing to the eye. Their 3 was definitely spicier than most places, but we were told that their two is more like a three at most other restaurants. We would definitely go back! It was also nice there was access to free 90 minute street parking.
Place is cute and clean, has small pillows for the bench seating. There seems to be only one worker so getting the food was slow but for one person serving, she kept up well in my opinion. The food was delicious, I didn't didn't get any stars as I share food with my kids, and had the guava juice and it was amazing! Then I for the tamarind ginger drink, which was good, had a lot of ginger. I think I only didn't take pictures of the drinks or the chicken saute. Would def recommend this place found another place I would definitely go again. I believe it was a couple dollars more expensive then some places, but I think the food was worth it. Vegetarian options: There's some options my kiddo is a vegetarian. Tofu appetizer, basil fried rice and other. Parking: There is a lot of street parking in front and around the corner.
What a surprise to find such authentic Thai food, made us reminisce over the food we ate during our travels throughout Thailand. We found dishes that we haven't seen in Vancouver before. Everything was delicious with well developed flavors - boat noodles, tom jabb ubon not a typo, handmade tapioca/coconut dessert. One comment might be that both noodle dishes were slightly salty. Lovely atmosphere and nice service.
My favorite dish in Bangkok is Curry fried squid, and the Muk Pad Pong Ka Ri is AMAZING!!!! The new owners have completely remade this restaurant into a gourmet delight hidden on Hewitt! The mocktails are handcrafted and are sure to make a normal night out special for kids of all ages.
This place was so amazing. Me and my wife came here hungry from North Carolina, and boy did it not disappoint. After the main course, Jenny suggested get the sticky rice for dessert and wow my belly has never been so happy. You will not regret going to Sabai Jai Thai!!
I ordered massaman chicken curry, and I was very satisfied. A bowl of rice is not included and you have to order separately $0.75. Overall, it was a great restaurant to satisfy your Thai food cravings.Food: 5/5

Great Thai restaurant. And they are amazing to delivery drivers I know from first hand experience even stay open after their posted hours to help the delivery drivers pick up and complete their orders! Unlike other restaurants I have experienced that will leave the order sitting outside to get cold or just close the restaurant and have you drive their for no reason they definitely put the customers first!!
I ordered the Pad Thai with an order of spring rolls. I ordered the pad thai at a 5 star heat level, I expected something spicier and a lot less sweet. Overall I still enjoyed it. For the record, what most people deem spicy I find rather mild.
This Boat Noodle Soup is really good. Probably one of the best I’ve had in WA state. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and fairly spacious. Highly recommend this place and this dish specifically
