Stopped by to grab a bite to eat while I waited to head to an appointment. You order at the counter then they bring you your food. Very tasty BLTA, sweet potato curry soup, salad, and lemon coconut chew cookie. The salad was very lightly dressed which was perfect for me because I do not like my salads drenched in dressing. The soup was nice and hot with lots of flavor. It is a little loud in the dining room, but I enjoyed the atmosphere and was still able to get work done while I ate. The person at the counter was also very helpful and happy to double check ingredients in the soup since I have a food allergy. I will definitely be back!
Waking up and hungry in Everett, WA brought us to The Sisters Restaurant. Such a delightful restaurant featuring home cooked meals made fresh! As soon as you enter I felt warmth and kindness. I believe this is a family run business. Upon entering you need to order and pay in advance of finding a table. We came in about 10am and the dining area was half full and we easily found a table for four people. Breakfast Burrito - if you are hungry this is for you Sourdough Breakfast Sandwich - perfectly toasted with whole lot of yummy Classic American Breakfast - nothing wrong with eggs and crispy bacon with toast They do say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We did it right at The Sisters Restaurant. We will come back when we visit Everett again.
This has been a favorite breakfast place in downtown Everett for several years, even after an ownership change a few years ago. The menu has been tweaked, a little. The Cali Scramble and Biscuits and Gravy are still staples. They also have bakery items as well. They're open until 7:00PM on week nights now, awesome! It was great to see a full restaurant on Sunday morning! Parking: 90-minute street parking during the week days but free on the weekends and after 5:00 PM.
Being in Everett for the morning, my partner and I decided to look for a breakfast place before our drive home. After scrolling through the many options, we were charmed by the feel of this place and decided to give it a shot, And I must say this has been one of my favorite breakfast experiences, Walking in through the door you are greeted with a friendly and warm environment that just makes you want to stay. It has all the small breakfast place vibes that just makes you want to get cozy and stay forever. The dining room is intimate and open and you are surrounded by photographs and exposed brick, It all syncs in the vibe with the food that makes you feel at home. We got ourselves a nice chocolate chip cookie and pumpkin spice lattes to mull ourselves over while we waited for our omelettes. Each sip and bite was an absolute delight, and while I prefer colder coffees, I wanted to take down every last drop of that delicious treat. I got the Cali and my partner got the Denver, and I must say that it was not only such a generous portion but it was flavor packed with every bite, the eggs cooked to perfection and dancing in melody with all the fixings. If you find yourself in Everett, please give this place a try , you’ll be wonderfully delighted
Awesome breakfast spot! We found this place on a whim and they were transitioning to lunch, but still whipped up a Cali scramble for me, a breakfast quiche for my boyfriend, and it was quick! Coffee is delicious, food is amazing, service was fast and friendly. Love the atmosphere and family photos on the walls. Highly recommend!
This place is special. A true family affair. You can feel the care and love that goes into the food and atmosphere. Does the nut burger look good? No, it's a burger made of nuts, no way it can stack up. Does the nut burger taste incredible. Yes. Yes it does. I love the black and white photos in the dining area. And if necessary, I'd sell a kidney for a piece of the carrot cake.
I wasn't entirely impressed with service as I didn't know you served yourself. It seemed impersonal. I did enjoy my salad though. It seemed very fresh. I would consider this place again for take out and not dine in.
Super cozy breakfast joint. Coffee was great, staff so friendly and chill, and the vegan breakfast burrito was super! gotta try their lunch/dinner next time and their pies made in house :
Finally tried this place. I wanted to try their biscuits and gravy ONLY. They didn't have à la carte option so, I went ahead and had it with soft scrambled eggs. I'm glad I did. It balanced the biscuits and gravy which was too salty for my palette. Overall experience: interesting, but probably won't return.
I worked from here for the majority of a workday earlier this week and it was a very pleasant experience. Perfectly quirky, absolutely delicious and everything I’d want from a restaurant nextdoor to a food co-op. I got a muffin/latte in the morning and a Reuben for lunch. I would recommend all the above. A bit on a pricey side compared to most cafes, but that’s life these days. It’s worth the couple extra bucks.
