Great little hotel. We stayed three days and went off each day cycling the Coeur D’Alene Bike Trail. Quiet nights, clean fresh air, and comfortable room with King Bed. Not fancy but it was a good value; a super clean place and the owner was very friendly and went out of her way to accommodate us. The town is small but kinda groovy. For food we found everything from a fabulous high-end wine bar “The Fainting Goat”, to a big brew pub “CIty Limits”, and an amazing intimate breakfast/brunch place “The Blackboard Cafe”, and of course the obligatory old west saloon “The 1313 Club”. All within a few blocks of the Centre of The Universe (you’ll see it when you get here). We really liked Wallace as a home base for this area and look forward to coming back.

The Ryan Hotel is an older style hotel that feels much like a bed and breakfast. The owner loves on site and helps you with your stay. The owner was very friendly. I will be going back, loved it!

I booked this hotel based on the reviews & it definitely was not worth it.
Pros:
*Super friendly staff
*comfy bed
Cons:
*The shower is designed for a 6ft man. As a 5'4 girl the water ran down my face the entire time & the shower head isn't adjustable & to top it off the water came out brown.
* The wifi is disappointing. Your phone totally relies on internet to make calls, text & the use of apps but the wifi there wasn't good.
* There is no T.V.
* The floors creek & the walls are super thin.
The town is beautiful and the people in town are really nice but I would not stay here again or recommend this place to anyone in their 20s.
