It just might be the most enjoyable campground my wife and I have ever experienced. Our site had abundant trees, and there was a comfortable distance between us and neighbor campers. The river was a short stroll away, and it's calm enough to plop down chairs, cool off your feet, and savor the scenery. The host family was very friendly and helpful, too.

DO NOT TURN OFF MAIN ROAD IF YOU GOOGLE DIRECTIONS. Otherwise was a good campsite. Clean, nice hosts,  short walk to river access from any site.

i WAS IMPRESSED WITH THIS BASIC CAMPGROUND. CLEAN, MANY SITES ARE PRIVATE. ALL OUTSIDE CAMPSITES HAVE A SHORT TRAIL TO THE RIVER. LOTS OF ROCKS TO SKIP, PLAY WITH. THE RIVER WAS FAIRLY SHALLOW IN AUGUST, SO YOU CAN WALK ACROSS BEING CAREFUL OF COURSE. GREAT PLACE FOR KIDS AND DOGS. BRING YOUR BIKE OR ATV AND TAKE OFF FOR MORE EXPLORING. SEVERAL FLY FISHERMEN ON THE RIVER TOO. IT WAS JUST BEAUTIFUL. THERE ARE PLENTY OF WATER SPIGOTS, TRASH CONTAINERS AND PIT TOILETS. MANY SITES WERE SHADED TOO. ALL SITES ARE PAVED SO GREAT FOR DRY CAMPING WITH AN RV. WE WILL GO BACK MANY TIMES.

Been going here for years fantastic place to swim, hike, or fish. Large sites that are well maintained. Several have private beaches attached to them.
