Runge Hollow Recreation Area

Beautiful area for ice fishing. I have also been there for spring fishing in a kayak.

It's a small lake, but I have gone fishing here before and caught panfish. If you don't have a boat, there is dock to fish off of with a couple benches.

Loved the fishing! They were some of the best crappies and bass I've seen.

Spooky lake. Was green and had an oily film on top of the water. No birds were near the water. Saw a large snake. Reminded me of a lake in a horror show. Was really weird to find out that a young woman was murdered this summer and her body found in the lake. After we found that out, the green water really gave us the creeps. Would not suggest take a dog there at this time. Gave it a two because of its eeriness.

Nice little fishing spot. Good for crappies, bluegills and bass. You can frequently see bald eagles and a nice array of flora and fauna.

I am only giving it 3 because the nice boat dock has been washed away from flooding. We caught some nice panfish when we were there.

It's pretty. Not much for fishing during my 1 experience.

Great place to go fishing! The incline is very steep however.

Great spot for a swim, some fishing, and a picnic.
