Food there is amazing, the only thing was one of the appetizers were really salty. When we went there was a larger party there. Food took about 2 hours , the customer experience was great so we didn’t mind staying and supporting. I gave this place a 4 star because of the food; however they really need to work on reducing the wait time of apps and main course. I would go back again just because I love the atmosphere and the flavours of their food.

If I could give a zero rating I would. Although the food was delicious the service was atrocious!!!! It took around 20 minutes for our server to come and take our order after we had to ask the hostess to get her to come. We were told AFTER we ordered our food that we could be waiting up to an hour to get our food because a dinner party had come very late and everything was backed up because of them. From the time we entered the restaurant it took an hour and a half to get our food. One of the plates was cold at that point. We had ordered appetizers and didn't get them till after our main meals which made no sense. And by the time we got them they were cold. Our server said she would get the manager to come and speak to us and he didn't come until over 30 minutes later. The server gave us desert menus and never came back to take our orders. When the manager eventually came he didn't take ownership for the poor service and tried to put all the blame on the server. When we asked to speak to the owner who we knew was there he said she was tired and that's why she couldn't speak to us!! We demanded to get a major discount and when the manager left we were there waiting for the bill for what felt like forever. Then the manager disappeared and the owner awoke from her slumber and did not say a word to our party. She was just fixing the bills still expecting us to pay a portion of it including the appetizers. Then when I said I'm not paying for the appetizer that came out way after our main meal she threatened to call the police. I told her go ahead and we waited for them to come. Not once did she take ownership and apologize for our bad experience. In the end the owner said they would promo my bill and my other friend but the rest of the party had already paid at that point. And to top it all off she tried to guilt trip my friend by claiming she had just had a stroke which is why she couldn't address us the way she would've have wanted to. They were all a bunch of con artists who didn't care about our experience. They just wanted to get paid. Needless to say we're never going back to this place ever again and I wouldn't be surprised if they went out of business very soon. RUM DIARIES IS BY FAR THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

SERIOUSLY I'M BEING REALISTIC. DO NOT!!! GO TO THIS PLACE!! IT'S OVER PRICED!!!!!!!!!! AGAIN OVER PRICED!!!!!! $40.00 FOR A SHRIMP PLATTER THAT YOU CAN COUNT WITH YOUR FINGERS. MIGHT AS WELL GO TO RED LOBSTER AND GET A REAL SHRIMP PLATTER AND SUM (GARLIC BREAD TOO). AFTER HOURS MUSIC WAS HORRID (IF THAT IS A WORD) IF YOU WANT JAMAICAN FOOD JUST GO TO YOUR FRIENDLY STORE AROUND THE CORNER FOR A DECENT PRICE.

Food there is absolutely delicious. Service is slow though. But as I said, the food there is absolutely delicious. Servers are friendly. Ample parking. Great location, close to the 401.

Poor service and cold food. I have been here twice with friends. The first time we went it was newer and service was slow. We assumed it was because it was new so we didn't say anything. The food was pretty good. The second time was a nightmare. Drinks took 20 mins to come out, and food came out 2 hours after we ordered! It was cold too and underwhelming this time. I won't go back...
