Great place to nap. Needing to catch up on those lost hours of slumber? This is the perfect place. On the real, this was one of the least interactive museums I've been too. The dinosaur bone statues are cool but aside from that there isn't much else to do. It's great for young children however, as it provides them endless excitement looking at the towering dinosaurs. I wish this museum had more to offer than just words on a page next to a fossil or statue, as it has a lot more potential in that area. That isn't to say I disliked everything. The layout is very intriguing and there's a decent amount to explore.

Amazing place to spend the afternoon! My wife and I very much enjoyed all the exhibits. Being someone who's grown up in the area but not having been to the museum for years it was very cool to see what's changed and updated and what's stayed the same. Facilities were all very clean and any staff member we came across were very helpful. The museum is good for kids and adults alike with a range of exhibits that will appeal to all ages. Our favourite stop was the dinosaur that was found with scales and armour attached - very cool! Also really liked how they had little stories on how the fossils were found. It definitely can get busy, so if you want a little extra breathing room and elbow space plan to come for the 9am opening time. You'll be done by noon and ready for lunch at a local lunch spot. All in all a great day and still an amazing facility - keep up the amazing work.

This world-class museum is hidden out in a somewhat remote valley in Central Alberta. From here, fossil experts travel the world on expeditions to gather fossils and return to the lab here to prepare them for display here and for to share.with other museums. While some displays do not change, many change over time and each visit is a surprise. Plan on a few hours to take it in and If you get hungry, a reasonably-priced cafeteria (unlicensed) with an outdoor patio is on premises.

Family had a blast. Ticket line was out into the parking lot, but we were in in 15 minutes. They also had staff tending to the line, making sure it was moving efficiently. They were even offering to "mist" you with water while you waited (as it was a very hot day). Once inside, the displays are amazing! World class museum. My kids also loved the play ground outside, complete with dinosaur skeleton.

What an amazing day!!! I can't say how awesome the visit was. There was guided tours if you needed, but you could also explore on your own. We spent about 4.5 hours exploring the museum but it didn't feel like it. The time just flew by! Great for everyone of all ages!!
