Royal Tea House

Tea house has plenty of options inside the Chinese mall. Seems like good tea but the red bean teas are the most vile thing I have ever tasted. Literally. I simply do not understand how that flavor is an option. The mango strawberry was great though!

Not THEE greatest bubble tea place in YYC chinatown but if ur looking for one that doesnt go crazy on the sugar then this place is for you! I went with my dad for his birthday today, he ordered a mango soba and i the roasted brown tea. Mine was a weak mix. My dad did enjoy his coconut flavoring tho. Place seems clean but the table counter out front seems crowded. They have a space in the back for private events but no wall, just a divider. Some seating room midway thru. Not a bad location inside the mini shopping mall.

I've had the Royal Tea House's "House Milk Tea with Pearls". It's the best tasting milk tea of any bubble tea places in Calgary. My wife had one as well and she loved it. So, we decided to try some different drinks from this bubble tea place. This time we had the Mango Sago Coconut and Fresh Strawberry Peach Tea with popping Boba. Both are pretty good. The Mango Sago Coconut had fresh mangos and tapioca. You can definitely taste the coconut flavor with a hint of mango. The Strawberry Peach Tea had fresh strawberries in there. The Boba pearls are kind of interesting as it just pops on your tongue with slight pressure. But the fresh strawberries in the drink is nice and the drink itself is refreshing. All in all, the Royal Tea House in the Dragon City Mall is a great place to get your bubble tea fix. The Milk Tea is by far the best and they offer so many varieties of flavored teas for an extremely great price. Around $5 for a large cup - you can't beat that!

It was a nice boba place and we enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and they have a good selection of drinks. You are able to customize the drinks also which is very nice. Our favorite thing we got there was the matcha bubble waffle. It was really really good. We would definitely go back there to get it again.

Really love their Mango Sago! And their fruit teas are all pretty good too! I really like how Bubble tea places can adjust the sugar level now. I personally don't like things that are too sweet and this feature is the best! All the drinks are made perfectly and very delicious! I would come back to try their other drinks. One thing I did get their egg waffles, personally it was too sweet for me.

Ive been here once before and my drink tasted okay. I came in here again with my friend earlier today for 3 cups of bubble tea. The staff signed when I asked for a bag for my bubble teas !? And he also took forever to put the straws in the bag for us even my friend had to offer to put the straws in the bag for him !? Got the rose oolong milk tea and it tasted so weird. The boba was hard to chew. As an Asian who loves bubble tea, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

it was my first time at Royal tea house and it was amazing. The staff were all generous and helpful with assisting me to choose a drink. I ended up getting the cake milk tea & the matcha smoothie with cream. It wasn’t too sweet at all and tasted delicious ! I totally recommend going here for your next boba :

The cups are so cute and so reliable! Drinks are decent. Wait times are a bit long. Service is friendly and attentive! Lots of seating for a bbt place, and very clean! You actually get quite a bit for the drink and the taste is alright. I had the Royal Milk Tea and would have liked a bit more flavour. The price of the super fresh fruit one is a bit too much. Not a super large drink and just a lot of fruit in it. Not worth $8, but was tasty. The work for hot and cold drinks! I see them being very reusable so if they ever want to implement a “reuse discount”, that would be so environmentally friendly and great!

This establishment is located inside the dragon city mall. My first impression was great, bright layout, modern and inviting design. We ordered, brown sugar Earl Grey, milk tea with pearls, rose oolong with cheese. All of the drinks were amazing except for the cheese in the drink as it isn't my type. The tea quality was superb, the sweetness was perfect even for a regular portion. This is so far, the only place that doesn't make me feel bloated after drinking compared to other locations. I would go back again to try new drinks.

I used to go to this place a lot when I was still living in downtown, I went here with my family and friends all the time, but the one thing I don't like is that I have to repeat my order 2-3 times until they can understand me. Other than that I love their boba:]
