Royal Shawarma

Not sure how this place has a lower rating than 4 stars. The Shawarma here is next level. Different than your usual shawarma shops. Sliced and flat grilled per order. Rice has corn added - a nice touch. And their hot sauce is amazing, with a hint of sweetness to it that you don’t get anywhere else. I wish this was a chain and more around. Then again, I’d be broke and fat…ter.

We got the falafel and chicken wraps—both were really good. We also got the fries with hot sauce and garlic sauce, also delicious but very garlicky so make sure you don’t have plans later. Portion was huge and staff was friendly. Also appreciate them giving a small bag to hold the wrap in as they knew we had to eat in our car. Will be going back!

Amazing taste, different than the other traditional Arabic food. Reasonable price and double the quantity. Clean and nice ambience and great staff! Babar is a great guy!

Heard about the place so went to taste , extremely expensive for one shawarma Plate .Asked for baklava got it poorly wrapped in foil paper , slow service on a really slow day . This was all ok if it wasn’t so bad in taste , no flavour ,burnt chicken ,overcooked rice plus it was so unhygienic as he was not using chicken from the grill but the one under his cooking place which I don’t think was clean.worst shawarma ever tasted , please don’t waste your money .

love this place with my whole heart been here so many times. shawarma is real like in the middle east, the family is super sweet. everything i've had has been so good but my favorite would have to be the chicken shawarma bowl ! my favorite restaurant would 10000% recommend ! quantities are incredibly generous too; you won't find them elsewhere

Not my first time here. The restaurant is over due for an update. I ordered shawarma over home fried potato and half rice. I asked for it spicy and garlic. With two pitas. Total cost was 23, including my ginger beer which was very unique, had some kick. Enough food for two hungry people. The staff is good to steer you towards what you want. The taste comes through sweet, garlic, spicy i ordered hot sauce. Very good taste. Every time I come here, there are at least 3 others who enter. So its a steady little place. Just don’t let the divey appearance fool you. You will enjoy anything you get here.

Had chicken shawarma wrap and also with rice it tasted so nice and delicious ... I recommend eating here very close to highway QEW and at affordable price

The place looks a little nondescript from the outside but Carlos prepared us awesome chicken shawarma with all the toppings included. Thank you for the "royal" affair.Food: 5/5

I've been there so many times and I noticed their tricks. I gave 3 stars because the food quality is still good BUT... prices are unreasonably high! For a Saj bread shawarma sandwich it is is now 11.50$ this is high already! Then they charge 1 dollar for asking to remove the pita bread from the sandwich. That was weird when I first noticed it! Apparently to compensate for putting less meet they used to wrap the sandwich with 2 layers of bread pita & Saj to make it look fat and generous. When I asked them to wrap it with only saj bread and they added the dollar, why??!! BTW, they didn't add more meet to compensate for the over all size... it was a really poor looking thin sandwich of chicken and garlic sauce. So , 12.5 dollar + tax for a Shawarma sandwich... BIG NO. This is greed not inflation
