"Crown Pastries had its beginnings in Aleppo, Syria. As a young boy, that's where Rasoul and Ismail Salha worked in his grandfather's sweets store and learned how to make baklava and other syrupy treats. Nowadays, Salha is continuing his grandfather's work here in this city. After moving to Canada in 2009, he and his family opened Crown Pastries in Scarborough. Here you'll find a host of Middle Eastern sweets, most of which are sold by weight. The business also offers catering service."

Wonderful experience with quality products. They don’t make their products too sweet and even offer a diabetic-friendly options. I made a large order of cookies and the process was easy and well-executed! Served them to guests and were enjoyed! Will be a go-to for these sweets and desserts in Oakville. They also give out samples which is great to help you decide on what you want.
If you crave middle eastern sweets you should definitely check out this place. Modern and clean , nice staff and fresh sweets. We tried few different kinds and they tasted good. Could be too sweet, but that’s the signature of Middle East. We will be back. The girl was so nice and welcoming us
I think that Crown pastries is a good place if you have a sweet tooth. The store is extremely clean, the staff is extremely nice and helpful. Everything is made fresh to order except for the baklavas of course and they use authentic ingredients for their kunafa/knafe. I would just comment on the kunafa being too sweet, a little more detail needs to be put into the syrup they use and the cheese portion in the kunafa. The syrup should be put aside and only a little added to the plate. Other than that great place great vibe and I would recommend coming here to fulfil your middle eastern pastry and sweet needs.
Went there today. The shop in itself is well presented Except for the Sign board . The staff is extremely friendly. Bought a Crunchy Knafeh and a Pistachio filled croissant I don't know it's name.. The Knafeh was kinda okay. Maybe I was expecting too much from it Idk. The croissant would also be rated somewhere around 5 on a scale of 10. Thanks!
Such a welcoming vibe of the place. Spacious and clean and very organized. I can see the products are excellent and delicately made. You can purchase by weight. . Lots of Parking. There are also others restaurants in the same plaza. Location is great closer to highway.
The staff are so friendly and the service is excellent, as soon as I entered the store they offered me complementary Pistachio Rolls which was very nice gesture from the staff. I ordered Halawet Al-Jibn which was excellent. I will definitely return back again.
Best Baklava place!!! We tried baklava from here once and since than never turning back!!! We prefer taking mixed boxes to friends & family from this store. They have different varieties and delicious items on list. Love their service!!
Hands down the best sweets and baklava place I’ve ever been to in Canada I encourage everyone with a sweet tooth to give this place a visit, you won’t be disappointed!! 10/10 super friendly and generous customer service. I've had alot of baklava in my day, even in my travels to Turkey, and the quality and taste of Crown Pastries truly blew me away! The service is also very friendly and quick. The variety of pastries, plus the freshness was the best I've had recently!! I'd highly recommend and will definitely be a regular customer!!
