Royal Oak - Barrhaven

Been to this location twice only. First time for a party, Second time for take out, very expensive. Maybe I'm out of touch but over15$ for a pound of wings is a lot..... I love the Royal Oak..... And I love their wings.. Yes I will return but I wish the wings weren't so expensive

Good service. We were seated quickly and someone came to ask us for our drink order right away. Menus arrived shortly after that and the order was taken quickly. Not the best food.

Food is really basic frozen bar food. Nothing special to eat here. Beer selection is also pretty basic. Lots to choose from but nothing exciting and new. The patio is nice.

My sports team and our kids (12 ppl total) went after our game. It took 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Another 10 minutes for our food orders to be taken. Another 40+ minutes for the food to arrive. (All but one order which surprisingly arrived after only 20 minutes so he ate alone so he could enjoy it hot) Asked for ketchup. She forgot. Had to go find and remind her. It was not busy. She was just standing around. Only one chef in kitchen. But that wasn't the problem...our food was ready...nobody bothered to bring it to us. Random staff would find our drinks and food orders and bring them over... Kids waiting over an hour for food is a little ridiculous. Then the bills took another 5-10 minutes...and she forgot the machine. Honestly don't know why we didn't just cancel our orders and leave but we won't be going back. They have lost a weekly team visit for the rest of the summer.
