Royal Home Improvements

We found Royal during our visit to the Toronto Home Show. We started planning for the renovation in April with a start date in September. Paul introduced us to Mark Davies our Project Manager and it was a good match from the start. The task was to add new tile from the front door through the kitchen and into the Powder room and Laundry room. We had Cortina do the kitchen design and cabinets. Mark introduced us to Antonio our foreman and main man on the job. Antonio was the best - he always explained what was needed and what he planned to do each day and week, kept the job site exceptionally clean and his quality of work and products where top notch. He became a friend. He consistently went the extra mile every time and then some. (who would think your contractor would shovel the driveway for my wife while I was away on business!) The job was well planned, thought out and done well. All were very professional and a pleasure to deal with. All follow-ups were completed and we are very pleased with the final results. We would strongly recommend Royal, Mark and Antonio in a heart beat.

We chose Royal Home Improvements because they advertise on a radio station my Mum listens to -- 98.6 FM -- and their commercials were simultaneously informative and amusing: a good combination, in our opinion. Paul responded to our email inquiry very promptly and when we had the meeting at our home, he was friendly and professional and presented a portfolio for us to keep regarding the extensive experience and quality of the company's work. We were impressed. Paul listened to our wish list for the renovation, took the measurements for our kitchen and wasted no time getting providing an estimate right then and there. We signed on! During the project, we changed our minds about a few things, but Paul and the designer, Coco, were wonderful. They responded to any text or email inquiry with little or no delay. Coco was a blast to work with! There were some delays that couldn't be helped and our project manager changed during the job, but we were very satisfied with the results. In fact, we've hired them on to add more cabinets to the kitchen and do some work in our basement! We are a repeat customer, and that is likely one of the best recommendations available. Great job by the team at Royal Home Improvements. Their renovation of my ensuite bathroom turned out perfect. Very competitive prices and expert workmanship. I'll definitely consider them for my next project.

My wife and I were very satisfied with the renovations done to our kitchen and bathroom. The Project Manager Lupo Cinco made this a positive experience. He was attentive and fair with any issues that arose during construction. I would use them again.

Warning . Do not use this company. They will understate the cost, use your payments for other purposes beside your renovation and generally ignore you. Project managers come and go, without the company telling you, and their customer service is nonexistent. Our renovation was delayed due to subcontractors not being paid and poor planning . And still management and ownership never contacted us to explain or apologize. They shouldn't be allowed to continue in this business.
