A doctor at a medical clinic inform me I had a broken foot after x-raying my foot. He told me to visit ER for a cast or brace.nnI arrived at the ER and received a second x-ray for what reason? The doctor told me that I should see another doctor and to arrange an appointment. No cast or brace was provided. I was sent home. No real communication was provided by ER regarding my injury.nnI received a phonecall regarding the referral and told I need another x-ray a WEEK later a third one again??. I phoned Royal Columbia ER and instead had a short very rude conversation with a woman who constantly interrupted me and was in a rush to end the call. She did not let me speak to the doctor who saw me. An ER visit should have better communication than this.
All the hospitals and emergencies take 7 to 10 hours to see a stupid nurse. Shame on you, you have no accountability and you don’t care about us, your salary and food is all from our taxesnnOne of the employees in the hospital was saying we have only one doctor and more than 700 patientsnnYou can see Jesus Peace be upon him but not Doctors in here!
I thought Surrey Memorial ER was bad because of the long wait time. Although Royal Columbian processes there patient quicker, they do not have enough rooms and/or beds for patients to even lay down comfortably to ease the pain they are feeling. they practically ask me to sit on a chair in a corner somewhere in the outdated ER for hours. the doctors were nice though however the senior nurses are very rude as if they are sick and tired of there life and projecting there burnt out feelings on the patients.
In the emergency Dr. GUAN, did not listen to me. I had pain in my leg for 5 weeks after falling and putting a large hole in my lower leg. I haven't been able to walk for 5 weeks, and Dr. GUAN'S reply, how do you get your groceries. I wanted an ultrasound, he admitted me, which put me after all er patients. Waited 3 days to get medication after the ultrasound for a blood clot in my leg. This is the Third one I have had. The other two moved up to my lungs and collapsed my lung. I think Dr. GUAN should be more attentive to his patients, and he is lucky it didn't move. He thought a 69 year old lady was there for drugs. Seriously, I could have died. Thanks for all the pain sitting in the emergency with a throbbing leg, for 3 days!!!!
My experiences at RCH ER were exceptional. The nurses and doctors provided top-notch care from the moment of intake. Their professionalism and compassion made a stressful time much more manageable. I am deeply grateful to the dedicated medical professionals at the hospital who work tirelessly to provide outstanding care to their patients.
