Story

Royal City Physiotherapy is a unique sports physiotherapy clinic where our registered physiotherapists aim to provide treatment specific to each patient’s individual needs. Our physiotherapists are experienced in providing treatment to increase mobility, decrease pain and prevent recurrence of injuries.

Located in New Westminster at 450 E. Columbia St, adjacent to Caps Bicycles, we are only 2 blocks North of Royal Columbian Hospital and close to Sapperton skytrain station. Our clinic boasts easy drive-up free parking, a modern open-concept gymnasium setting and a team of knowledgeable physiotherapists ready to take on your physiotherapy needs.

After trying many other physiotherapists, and having no luck recovering, I was getting frustrated. I was recommended to Royal City for my knee and back problems after being in 2 car accidents. Karen has done an amazing job helping me recover. Her exercises are efficient and effective. She takes the time to get to know her patients and shows them exercises that they can incorporate in their lives easily. Staff is very friendly and accommodating to my work and school schedule. Highly recommended.

The Way Physiotherapy Should Be! Before I found Royal City Physio, I assumed that when you went to physio, that your therapist spent about 5 minutes using ultrasound on you, gives you some exercises, and off you go. Now that I'm a patient at Royal City Physio, I've come to realize how physio actually should be. I see Davin and he's hands down, the best physiotherapist I've seen (and I've seen a bunch), he's very thorough, he really takes the time to work on the injured area (my wrist), using a variety of techniques and he genuinely cares about making me better. For the first time in years, I finally feel like my wrist is actually getting better. Worth mentioning that everyone working here is great. Karen, the owner, is so friendly and I see her working on her patients, with the same level of care and attention as Davin. The women working at the front desk are so sweet and friendly. It's just a great experience all around!

As a healthcare professional who works in acute care clinical settings. I am often very particular about who I seek treatment from. If you are looking for dedicated professionals who commit themselves to providing the highest standards of care and are constantly working to improve the quality of care they provide. This is your place. With small nagging day to day discomforts brought on from work or more significant accidents/injuries with playing sports. I am always impressed by the results I get. Routinely wishing I had made the choice to visit the clinic earlier. They can get busy from time to time, because they are good. I have known them to accommodate unexpected urgent visits but I would still recommend trying to book ahead if possible. Cannot say enough good things about this place and I have tried MANY!!!!
