Round House Bakery Café opened on April 3, 2013. Our cafe is located in the ground floor of Hubbard Hall! Come to our dinner hours on Thursday and Friday!

Round House Bakery is located at Pompanuck Farm in Cambridge, NY. We bake organic artisan breads, cookies and pastries and offer specialty wedding and celebration cakes of shapes, sizes and flavors. We do not have retail space at the Farm, but offer tours and special orders on request. Our baked goods are available at Round House Bakery Cafe, The Farmers Markets in Glens Falls, NY, Cambridge, NY and at the Cambridge Co-op and Spice n' Nice Health Food Store in Bennington, VT.

When ordering a cake for my mothers 60th birthday I was very specific on how she wanted it. The order was for a white plain cake with plain white buttercream frosting and purple flowers. Instead I recieved a Vanilla cake with Vanilla Bean frosting and Raspberry lettering.. It did did not turn out at all how I wanted except for the size of the cake, not even the color of the flowers were right. I asked for purple and got red??? Plus was never called when it came in. I had to call to see if it was in before they closed and I did provide a number for them. Then was told if I wanted to wait or go to the grocery store to get a cake I could do that instead. This was supposed to be special. I was very inconvienenced and super pressed for time which is the only reason I purchased the $25 cake. I appreciate creativity but I also understand you are to get what you paid for. Never had I placed a special order for someone and recieved something else.

My favorite place to stop for a snack and cold drink during long bike rides through Cambridge. I plan routes that include a stop at the Round House!

Cozy and friendly place. The breakfast is really delicious. One thing we really loved is the love music and their home made bread 🍞
