Story

Welcome to Rose&Rooster!

We love food & we love coffee. We love the ocean & we love our community. It is these things that brought Rose & Rooster to life. We started baking for the Seaforth Market in 2011. We loved the smiles fresh baked bread and sweet treats brought to the faces of our neighbours and friends. Looking for a permanent place we are lucky to have found our home in the former co-op building, and we often hear stories of the of the olden days. The photos on the walls reflect our place in the story of our village.

Rose & Rooster is a local gathering place and a destination for folks out enjoying our beautiful beaches and wild spaces. Open, clean, bright and comfortable Rose & Rooster is a welcoming space, and we’re happy to have little visitors too. Bring your gadgets and you are welcome to use our wifi.

DIRECTIONS: We are located on Highway 207.
From Cole Harbour follow Portland St. It will turn into Highway 207 & you will pass through Lawrencetown, Three Fathom Harbour and Seaforth. Once you pass into Grand Desert it is just past the pond on your RIGHT< and hard to see! IF you get as far as Dyke Rd, turn around. And look for the building with the saloon front with a Rooster on it!
From Porters Lake follow the 207 through Chezzetcook, into Grand Desert. Just past Dyke Rd we will be on the Left!
