Ok the salad was meager could have done with sweetcorn, salad onions, red, green peppers etc not just a helping from a bag of salad of green leaves from a super market needs a bit of excitement. The meal is well overpriced compared to similar establishments.

Went for works Xmas do, absolutely stunning food and pub! Very busy Friday night but the service was fast, food fantastic and we had our 3 course served and coffees ordered in 2 hours. Couldn't ask for more!Food: 5/5

My 3 star rating is based purely on the extremely limited vegetarian options available. There is only 1 option and if we wanted to eat Sunday lunch there, there is nothing special at all. I find in this day and age it extremely surprising and frankly annoying that restaurants and gastro pubs seem unable to offer 2 or 3 vegan options. Otherwise, the one meal we were forced to have was absolutely delicious. Both the service and ambience were friendly and top-notch. The Eyeston Arms would be a regular for us if they catered to other diets with a bit more enthusiasm. Veganism and vegetarianism are not the outlandish 'fads' they were 30 years ago. Please cater to our needs as well and you will have an absolutely superb gastro pub.

Disappointed, used to eat regularly at the Eyston before covid. As it was my husbands Birthday thougjt it would be nice to go back. My husbands prawn starter was tasteless, my belly pork was tasteless not good pork, I have had much better the mustard croquet was again tastless. Lack of seasoning in everything. Such a shame as the chef before was top class. Parking: Good car parking area

Incredible village pub! Often put off by village pubs buy this place is excellent. Quaint, impeccably decorated sympathetic to its surrounding and food to die for. Set Sunday lunch for £26.95 for three courses was outstanding! 100% will be back again!

What an unassuming pub from the outside and what a delight the whole experience was. We came for dinner and we’re made to feel very welcome even the dog. The service was top class and the food even better. Lovely varied menu and specials. Would definitely recommend

We were extremely dissapointed and left hungry! The starters were fine, however after waiting a further 90 minutes for our main meal we had to cancel the order given we had prior commitments. Not only did the staff not check on us once during this 90 minute period we had to chase twice, they were poorly trained and seemed unprepared to deal with this situation - they simply presented us with our bill for the food we had eaten so far and gave us a half-hearted apology. For a venue that prides itself on service, and prices itself accordingly, this was extremely poor. I am normally a supporter of local pubs however in this instance my only advice is avoid!

Always a good time to be had whether just drinks or food too. Staff are all cracking. Can't recommend enough.Food: 5/5
