Never let a customer wanting to purchase walk out of the store with nothing. That is what happened to me. Too much nit picking on exact item I saw sonewhere else , but with different code, wouldn't complete the sale.
We delivered to their garden centre. Nice, friendly staff. Even the manager stopped over to say hello as he was on his way home.
I only go here after Halloween and Christmas to get cheap decor, but the staff is usually friendly.
Not a bad store, but they never seem to have what I am looking for.
I hadn’t been to a Rona in a long time. Had some poor experiences years ago not at this store. Stopped in Carleton Place today out of convenience to pick up a few things. Was pleasantly surprised with fantastic service and a very cheerful staff. Store is very clean as well. Extra shout out to the gentleman who working in the paint section todayJan 10th his positive attitude was great.
Workers here but no one wants to do anything. Been passed off 3x now with maybe 1-2 Customers in the store….
Horrible shopping experience! Purchased $5300 worth of appliances in July. All except a dryer that is back ordered till Oct 15! arrived Sept 5, along with a $1000 Electrolux laundry washing machine that hasn’t worked since day 1! I’ve called Rona Carleton Place, dealing with a man, who was nice at the beginning but, now that he knows there is a problem, they are avoiding my calls and not returning my messages. Further, the manufacturer has done nothing to help. Very disappointed and super frustrating! No accountability.

5/5 for the friendly, helpful service that the sales associates provided us this morning, but we're very frustrated by the fact that we were told there was stock of the items we wanted when we called only to find the stock wasn't available once we arrived at the store. This seems to be an ongoing issue with all Rona locations. Something needs to be updated with the way in which Rona tracks stock in each store. Earlier this year we ordered online and paid for and requested delivery of a large amount of patio slabs only to get a call later from the store saying they did not have the stock. The store manager made good and delivered as soon as the stock came in several weeks later, thankfully.
This store has good sales. I also find the things I need typically. I've regularly dealt with Allison at cash who is helpful and friendly. Big lumber section, and many knowledgeable employees. I have had to wait at times to speak to them though but so long as you're patient you can speak to them and they've offered me good advice. New dishwasher from them in March, and it's great also.
