Two stars instead of one due to the knowledgeable staff in this store, but the main issue is a very restricted return policy. I attempted to return a perfectly good unused item but was refused because the packaging was opened. I got the impression that the staff thought I was trying to trick them into accepting a used item. If you want to shop with confidence for hardware knowing you can return it if you buy the wrong item, I advice consumers to go to Home Depot instead so they can be confident they can return new and unused items regardless of whether the packaging was opened or not.

Usually LOVE shopping at RONA Port Perry. latest experience from 08/30/17 not so great .. a male at the lumber desk did not know his product and continued to make up answers for the majority of my questions ..

Great service, always helpful, selection is obviously not as good as the bigger box stores but that's expected, nice that they stock the quality products and the cheaper brands.
