It used to be a good store until they replaced most of cashiers with a self checkout counters. It took more than 10 minutes for us to finish the transactions because we had to look up for the codenof items we purchased fruits and vegetables. Sadly these days, many gaint retail stores except us the customers to do their jobs so they can make more money.

Great little store but kind of dirty. Best for non-parishables. The meat doesn't look great, and the variety of veggies can be a bit slim sometimes.

Great variety. They are starting to fall into the same trap as other grocery chains and that the prices have gone up significantly particularly with respect to fresh produce and seasonal items

Great store, old time sales help are extremely friendly and helpful! Even student staff deserve a worthy mention!

I love Food Basics - the Bolton location has such a large variety of foods, and their prices are quite literally unbeatable.
