This location is a classic one from my childhood and we are often surprised it is still surviving amidst the midtown competition. Food is decent, staff is nice and patrons tend to be the friendly sort. A good place for lunch or a casual dinner. I appreciate that the pricing seems to stay consistent with the product so you don't feel over charged for what you get. The parking is awkward at best though.

Five star hangout. An Omaha classic. Cheese dip is brilliantly made. Go for the pork and bean sancho with all three sauces and you will go away one happy diner. The service is always fast and friendly and easy parking.

The waiter who sat us was very nice. But after we sat down the waitress looked at our table passed us up and assumed to wait on the table that came AFTER us. We waited about 10 minutes with her walking by us and totally ignoring us. What disrespect ! We just decided to leave. Never again will we go to the downtown location. We will go to another location.

It's great food for a low cost. My family and I have been going to this Romeo's for years. It has been a local favorite for many years.
