The sole purpose of this store is to rip off students. You buy quite a few books new because they don't have them used and then they don't even buy half of them back. Not even the custom books written specifically for Creighton courses. The reason? Nobody knows. It's just the way it is. As if you don't pay enough to study already.
The bookstore is clean and the employees are very friendly. The prices are not their fault; since this store is part of a chain, national headquarters sets the prices. People need to realize this, and also recognize that the bookstore isn't the only place to get books. In other words, if they hate the prices so much, they should first get their facts straight about who sets the prices on clothes and books and all other things and second, realize that there are other vendors.
Not a good place to buy merchandise/books. The majority of the employees are not trained, not knowledgeable of their subject matter, and certainly not helpful. I called to resolve a mistake on their end, and the manager, Peggy, was terribly rude. She spoke over me the entire time, informed me she had only been working there 6 months as if that was relevant to my problem, and then hung up on me. They should pay their employees more to provide a helpful experience, or at the very least provide them with basic training. Not to mention the books and merchandise is half the price at Target or Amazon.
The Creighton bookstore is the worst bookstore I have ever been too. They screw their own students out of money. What a great jesuit school. I would rather take a course with no books then ever go there again.
I returned a rental via priority mail - they claim they didn't get it 8 days later. Now my account with the bookstore is locked up. Definitely an efficiency problem
I love all the local guide reviews on here as if normal come off the street or that random people from Cuba, Maine, etc are local guides in Omaha. Reviews seem fishy and filled with fake profiles/bots.
The service has improved. The website is more student friendly. Nice selection of apparel.
Has a lot of good stuff to buy, it is on campus but expensive
Solid selection at actually reasonably priced items for a college bookstore
Cute bookstore. I like how cheap the composition notebooks are.
