Breakfast, as a meal, has largely been neglected as something that can be done with care, creativity, and diversity. Most places just end up deep frying their eggs, overcooking their hash, or leaving stale coffee. But not at Romeos. This is a family run business, and you can tell. You feel like guest when you’re there and you can tell that they care about making sure you enjoyed your food. Overall, the food was excellent: creative, fresh, and very well made. The service was also great! Nancy was warm, and made us feel so welcome. If you’re in town, this is a must go place. You’ll love the breakfast here so much that you might want to return to the tow just to eat here again.
Phenomenal! The food was excellent and the service was just as great. I'm not well versed in the different ways eggs are made and the server took the time to explain. I got the feature benny smoked salmon, asparagus and my husband got the meat lovers skillet
A Diamond of a find. Our first time here, after driving by many times. The Food and Service was amazing. Clean , Welcoming Restaurant, coffee was perfect. We will be doing Sunday all day Breakfast. Worth the half hour drive from Seaforth
Definitely one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The cooks are highly skilled, the staff are amazing and friendly, and the ambiance is beautiful. The food is perfectly done, the pancake one of the best I’ve had in my life, very fluffy with a slight crunch on the edges. Highly recommend this gem of Stratford. Wow!
Came on a Sunday for brunch. It was VERY busy. We didn’t have reservations but we’re seated after about 10-15min. Lots of dishes and drinks on the menu to choose from. Service is pretty slow on account of how busy they were. Our normal server was tied up so a different server helped us. If we were not on a schedule, it would have been a good atmosphere to relax and take our time. We ordered 1. Mediterranean Omelet $14.50. The omelet is a good size and delicious. Sour dough bread was ok, shredded potatoes are good. I like the crispy parts. The non crispy parts are soft like mashed potatoes. Took a while to find the tobasco sauce. I think they need more bottles. 2. Romeo’s Original $9.75. Very average. The sausage was dry and hard and the bread could use more butter. Eggs were good. Plating is good. Jam package is a good size.
Top quality breakfast. I had the classic breakfast and my partner has a vegetarian skillet. Both were generous portions with delicious toast on the side. Table service was excellent.
Barley risotto with chicken was quite tasty! Will try their other specials next time they had veal with fondant potatoes last time I went. Looks like it was formerly a Williams cafe Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available
Waitress was fantastic and our service was perfect plus. To the whole staff great job and picking up service when you were down short by one . The food was perfection. I had a small CEASOR and chicken wrap my wife had a Salmon dish both fantastic Luckily we had reservations. The establishment was extremely well run and busy. There was a line up out the door so booking a table is advised. We will definitely be back to try out the dinner menu and Breakfast as this tome it was Lunch.
Updated-I've been there a few times now and while the food tastes ok there is room for improvement. This is the first time I've used the bathroom there and the dirt on the floors and inch of dust on the stalls and the 2" of dust on the vent directly above the stall was a real turn off. The breakfast I ordered which was posted as their special that day I couldn't get because she said they couldn't find the one serving of smoked trout disappeared and for as long as they were looking for it at least 15 min it was gone. I'm not sure why it was the daily special if they didn't have any. They proceeded to offer me the truffle Benedict instead which was good but not what I would have ordered to begin with.
Excellent job of breakfast. Very friendly staff.. breakfast came quickly and was delicious. Checked for vaccine passport. Takes both cash and cards. Steps to get in.
