Edison’s has the best coffee in Stratford. Bold statement, but it’s true. They use high quality beans from Toronto, offer amazing espresso & have a menu paired perfectly with your drink. Super allergy friendly, great indoor vibe, lovely owners AND Thomas Edison actually lived where this Cafe bears his name. You can’t go wrong.

What a cool and trendy coffee spot! Service was awesome! We ordered iced Americano and iced charcoal latte. Very unique taste but delicious! A must try!!!!

I wa to a coffee shop with a massive variety of high quality treats that are gluten free, non-dairy and without refined sugar. It was so incredible for me to buy the treats I normally have to make myself - and I know how expensive the ingredients are! I ordered one of everything in the display and on the counters lol! My favourite items were the berry oat bar and the almond butter&raspberry cups. The latter was AMAZING! Someone who eats sugar regularly might find these things lacking but just take a week of sugar and try them again! Dietary restrictions: Non-dairy, gluten free, vegan, no refined sugar

I really loved the modern, elegant location where Thomas Edison used to live and their brunch selection, but they would have been a 4.5* if I had the option, because both our sandwiches were a bit too salty and surprisingly, spicy too. I don’t enjoy eating spicy at all so while I still ate it, I wished I would have known in advance... Otherwise super tasty and fresh! Would definitely recommend it!

Cute little cafe with yummy food! I liked that the food menu wasn't overwhelming so it was very easy to decide what I wanted to order. We got the Protein Bowl and the Turkey Brie Panini. Both were already pre-made and the panini just needed to be heated up so we got our food and drinks pretty quickly. For drinks, the Earl Grey Lavender Latte is a must if you like tea lattes.

Picked up amazing gluten free, dairy free desserts to share with my family and they taste wonderful. You should definitely check them out.

Attempted for several weeks to attend to this place and sample the drink and food menu. Closed morning, noon and night, which is fine, BUT no sign stating closed for a period of time, no sign saying hours and days limited. Nothing. Takes little effort to communicate. Last week noticed it was open so took a brief stop for the road-trip. One customer waiting for their goods, two employees behind the counter prepping. No one bothered to,look up to acknowledge or greet. One employee came within 3 feet to give the first customer their order, again did not acknowledge visually, much less say hello or good morning, turning and going back to them-rep counter. Walked out in disbelief. Won’t be exchanging my money to an establishment that behaves this way, bereft of even a modicum of valuing the customer. Stratford has far better coffee shops downtown that are warm, inviting and engaging; most of them hitting it out of the park. Next!

Quiet little coffee shop with a beautiful brick interior and relaxing ambiance. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in Stratford.

I popped into Edison's today on a whim to buy coffee for my husband and I. While I was ordering I noticed these delicious-looking chocolate chip cookies and ordered two. When I got in the car and announced that I had cookies my kids were not initially interested as they were full from lunch. We got home and the cookies along with everything else we had bought today was brought onto the kitchen counter it wasn't until just now we've realized that the cookies have not been eaten. The kids are in bed though... so whatever, my husband and I eat the cookies and they are THE cookies that every single Baker achieves to make. I cannot stress this enough : These are the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever had. They are decadent and substantial but they don't feel heavy. Not overly sweet and they are soft, which, let's be real, is the best type of chocolate chip cookie. So, so good. Coffee was great too!

INCREDIBLE! Loved it here. The atmosphere, the employees, the food, and drinks. They were very helpful and friendly! Felt very welcoming. Got the earl grey + lavender tea, biscotti, and a croissant sandwich. Yum! I’d highly recommend this to anyone and everyone. Definitely visiting again :
