Rodeway Inn

For the price I can't complain. The owners were attentive, but also respected privacy. For the price I prolly should have gave 5 stars, but honestly, the room could have been cleaner. Imperative things were clean (bed linens, bathroom, towels, etc), but I noticed cobwebs in the corners, stuff like that. But all in all, a decent stay.

This room was dirty. The bathroom had mold all around the tub and door slider tracks. There was hair on the sheets and towels. There was a spider and web above the desk which my husband killed. The window unit AC was too dirty to turn on. The bathroom had "splashes" of something on two walls. Empty tissue dispenser and broken soap dish hanging on the wall. I could go on and on. I gave a star because I couldn't post until it had at least 1 star.

Everything was wonderfully taken care of. I had no problems. The room was very spacious and clean. The ability to have my pet with me encourages me to stay again.

Hotel cleanliness was just fine. But customer service here is a joke. Arrived for check in and no one was on site that could check us in. After locating the owners mother, she was able to call him and ask him to come drive to the hotel. This was during regular business hours. Finally, we asked where the laundry and pool were located, AND THEY DON'T HAVE A POOL OR LAUNDRY. I pointed out to the owner that we only booked this room because we wanted access to laundry and a pool and he just shrugged and denied it was on their website. And told me to walk to the laundromat. I even called customer service and they confirmed that this location is supposed to have laundry and a pool. On top of that, the wifi didn't work in our room and the owner knocked on our door at 9am to see "when we were leaving" even though check out is at 11. There are plenty of other mediocre hotels in Rutland to choose from who don't lie about their services and respect privacy of their patrons.

We really liked the room, but it was extremely hot, found out the heat was on. Room 80 degrees, after 2 requests they finally turned it off, then there was no hot water, no shower that day. We also were offered no housekeeping, we had to ask for everything, the last day they made the bed, gotta say room was very clean, best hotel coffee I've had. Suspect new mgmt,
