Clean. Well stocked coffee station and shampoos/soap. It had a mini fridge which is nice since most at this price range do not. Great heat, plenty of towels. Bed a bit saggy but comfy. Update: tried to stop here again traveling through and was told we can't reserve at two am. That's not how you run a motel. We went to days inn which quickly got us a room. Just be warned they must close and don't have night staff to reserve rooms. Plan accordingly.

Dirty, dingy, beds were broken, ice machine didn't work, rude staff & looked like a hotel built in 1960, with no new upgrades. 110 VERY loud unit on the wall. Bathroom so small the toilet paper holder was BEHIND the toilet. Your knees hit the sink counter when you turned to reach for it. Run, do not stay at this hotel, it's horrible

Looks decent on the outside but small rooms, My 5th wheel camper bathroom is bigger, sad but true. Staff at the desk were nice but id rather have a better room. As part of The Choice hotels i thought it would be better.

The econo lodge is nicer than most of the budget options in Rutland - especially nicer than the rodeway inns. The biggest downside is that there's rarely anyone present at the check-in desk. Once you manage to locate the one employee, check in still takes a long time. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable though.

Run, don't walk away from this place. Had group reserve rooms several months in advance. We arrived and entered the lobby adorned with genuine imitation, poorly installed marble. It took an extra ordinary long time to check people in. My room and most others stunk of stale cigarette smoke and mildew. The rooms are dated. Bathroom door couldn't shut. Sink faucet assembly was loose. There was no ice in the ice machine. The management did try to compensate by running bags of ice to those who wanted it. The group used the breakfast area for a gathering at night. We found rotten food in one of the refrigerator. We decided to help out and throw it away. No servicing of the rooms at all over the 2 night stay. The room next to us remained unlocked and unoccupied in a disheveled manner. Any passerby could have squatted in that room. King sized bed sank in the middle. One of our party attempted to speak to the manager the morning we left. Manager refused to show up. Will be contacting corporate.
