Indoor Climbing & 24 hour Fitness - located inside the Whitefish Mountain Mall next to Whitefish Cinemas.

Story

Bouldering is a fun, social form of physical fitness. Climbers only need climbing shoes to get started; no other special equipment is necessary. The climbs are shorter and climbers are protected by a padded floor. Bouldering is easy to learn and enjoy.

This is a family friendly climbing space and workout facility for adults. The gym will include over 12,000 square feet of climbing and fitness equipment. Climbing walls will include a smaller, kid-specific bouldering area as well as a variety of terrain to cater to all levels of climbers.

We will offer Intro to Bouldering classes as well as Kids birthday parties.

Yeah, it’s dark, yeah, it’s a little dingy, but this is a real, Whitefish, Montana family owned and operated business. This is a gathering place, where all are welcome with open arms without judgment. One might say ‘the climbing gym in my city is much bigger and much nicer with way taller walls and more accurate grades’, but no other gym can offer the authenticity, comradery, friendship and positive energy of Rockfish Climbing & Fitness. Free of cliques and ego-maniacs, this is an amazing facility to learn the beautiful movement of climbing, as well as have fun and laugh. Highly recommended.
Great place for a rainy or cold day. I take my 3 year old there and he loves it! Up the boulder, down the slide.. for hours! Reasonable prices. Great workout facility. Highly recommend!
Cool local bouldering gym that does a great job of fostering community with lots of events. It's nice to go to a place where not all walls are overhung so the problems are more balancy than strength-based. Also has a pretty comprehensive regular gym. Great casual locals hangout.
I've been a member for a couple years I guess. It's a great spot and a great value. They keep the climbing fresh and put up 6-10 new problems every week. It's a great community spot if you don't want to go to the bars every night. Also the gym is nice and has everything I need.
We were vacationing in whitefish and it was a rainy cold day 50s. We could not find many things todo indoors with kids but then found this. It is a great place for the kids to burn off energy. All day access, we had kids 4-14 and all enjoyed. We spent almost 4 hours here. It wasn’t very busy 11-3 on a Monday.
Really don’t enjoy going to this gym. They clearly care more about the children and their latte moms than the actual climbers. Children will run around underneath of you while you climb. Wish they cared a little less about what type of chalk you use and a little more about the climbers experience!
Everyone here is rad and really care about the sport. Stoked to see where this gym goes in the next few years! Super knowledgeable of the local areas as well!
RockFish is the best climbing gym in the northwestern part of Montana, great setters, clean building, and the atmosphere is excellent! A must do for anyone in Whitefish.
Have loved being a member, and am always challenged at rockfish. Amazing routes and Fitness gear. Also great people :.
Decent gym to get your climb on while in the area. The showers/locker rooms are clean. Sometimes there are many children climbing and parents don’t really control them.
