"Rock Creek Woodsmoke Grill + Bar is a local restaurant company with two locations in Saskatoon. We are casual dining with an upscale vibe in our lounge and patio. We cater to all ages including children. Our menu features a wide range of options including many in house prepared items. We also offer new in house wood smoked recipe - Baby Back Ribs , Brisket , Pulled Pork and cold smoke our cheddar and garlic to infuse in several sauces including our smoked caesar salad dressing. Our signature Smoked Prime Rib which is served Thursday through Sunday from 5pm until sold out! Service was pretty good! I will say for the Z burger, just do one patty instead of 2 small ones. I understand "height" but it's not necessary here, just one patty staff. Also make your own onion rings, the taste of Cavendish is all over these, takes 30 seconds and the appreciation wall be forever. Lastly, fries were kinda soggy, which if it sat in the window for a bit, I get, all good. I'd do 3.7 since whole numbers are rookie but overall decent place. To have Mount crushmore on tap blew me away. Much love.
Absolutely the BEST smoked brisket Benny's I've ever tasted. The brunch options here are amazing. The staff is fantastic, highly recommended!
I celebrated my birthday last week at Rock Creek and the free dessert banana burrito was really good. Kid-friendliness: They have color activity for the kids while waiting of our food to arrive.
My husband and I went here- could not have been more impressed. Our server Osmany was beyond fantastic, he took great care of us and was very professional. The restaurant was super clean and fancy, and the food tasted great. We'll absolutely be back- what an awesome night out!Food: 5/5
Our group had a 530 supper reservation. We were seated promptly and our server had us all well organized and was quick to get our drinks out and take our orders. Unfortunately that was the only positive part of our experience. By 7 the manager came out to apologize because we still had no food but assured us our food would be out as soon as possible. Despite that assurance , and the fact that we could see many of our meals sitting under the warmer, the food was still not prompt. We even asked another staff member if they could bring out the food that was ready- but they did not. It was 720 before the first meal came out and 740 before the last one did. after sitting under the warmer for so long, much of the food was not to the standard one would expect. The manager never did return to offer any further apology or attempt to rectify the situation in any way.
Jan 2022 So good - I went 2 nights in a row! Edit - Make that 3 nights in a row : 1st time - Prawn Mushroom Stuffs + Seafood Linguini + Deep fried cheesecake 2nd time - Albuquerque Shrimp no chicken + Deep fried cheesecake 3rd time - Seafood Chowder Soup & Maui Shrimp Tacos + Deep fried cheesecake All three times were great! Especially the deep fried cheesecake - that I am currently enjoying Dec, 2022 Tried the Salmon with mashed potatoes - initially came out with broccoli, steamed carrots, and what looked like plain mashed potatoes. The salmon filet was very dry felt like it was sitting on a warmer rack for a while The wonderful ladies quickly worked to resolve this, and the redone dish was great! I ordered Seafood Chowder to tide me over while the order was redone. Small hiccup - but wonderful service! Dietary restrictions: Vegan Dishes are offered as well.
Very good service. Food was OK, somewhat disappointing. My father-in-law was very disappointed with his prime rib, my ribs were dry/tough and the brisket was tough. My wife's aunt loved her prime rib sandwich and my coleslaw was very good.
It is really unfortunate as the Rock Creek brand has gone down hill in so many ways the past 2-3 years. We tried this restaurant again tonight and it was awful and will not be coming back unfortunately. The Zeke's burger use to be one of the best burgers at this restaurant. The bun they now use for this burger falls apart when you hold the burger and all of the meat, including the prime rib, has no flavour. The prime rib is chewy. The portion sizes have also shrunk significantly. Finally, the service unfortunately is slow and not the greatest for a restaurant that tries to brand itself as a mid-high tier place.
We did not have a very good experience here. Spent most of the time waiting, me, wife and 2 girls were there 1 hour and 45 mins for simple dishes. Food was mediocre at best.
Love this place. Convenient location, lots of seating room. The staff is very friendly and the service has always been fairly quick. Go to this place lots and don't remember a time when I had to wait for too long for the order even when the place was packed. Good choice of vegan/vegetarian dishes.
