"I’m Roberto and I’m looking forward to sharing some great recipes I have enjoyed growing up in a Italian house hold. My best kitchen memories was when my mama made authentic Italian sandwiches, soups and deserts, for our lunches, snacks or even for school events.These recipes cannot be found in a cookbook because many of these recipes don’t follow ANY measurements as we all know the best food usually followed no recipe at all. I remember asking many times, “What’s the recipe?” my mama would say …..” I don’t know….a little of this ….a little of that…depends on how you like it.” I would like to think Roberto’s Corner is a traditional take off of my mamma’s authentic recipes here for you to enjoy and always made fresh daily."

I live out of town and had an appointment at CHEO to attend. Decided to look online for somewhere to grab lunch after our appointment. So glad we stumbled upon Roberto’s Corner. Hidden inside a gas station I never would have found it on my own. Our sandwiches were amazing and the cannoli was so yummy! Great service, quick, and amazing prices. We will definitely be returning when we’re in town.
They make amazing sandwiches and other Italian food. The sandwiches are made in front of you with fresh ingredients. They don't skimp on the toppings sandwiches are packed. It's like you went into their kitchen and they're making you a home made sandwich . Highly recommended!
Hands down the Best Italian Deli in Ottawa! Must try , highly recommend the chicken Parm and the Italian Trio. Don’t forget a lobster Tail
Once again, I was passing by Roberto's Corner and wonderful memories forced my car to park in the lot and go in for another wonderful sandwich experience. This hidden gem inside the Quickie at the back is known by many but not by all. Hopefully, this will change after you read my review of the place... I ordered my sandwiches, off menu, to my own specifications, and Roberto was there to guide his son on the preparation of a culinary delight. Fresh Italian bread, straight from the oven, fresh ingredients no yellow lettuce Subway.... I asked for my two sandwiches as I wanted, with the toppings I chose myself to make a couple of delicious sandwiches that we could not finish because they were so big. Generous toppings, no counting the pieces of meat like other places, just grabbing handfuls and trying to make them stay on the bread. Needless to say, if you haven't already been there, Go. You will not be disappointed. Roberto is always present with his smile and great service. They also have Italian gelato.... haven't tried it yet but I sure will... Like I said, this is a hidden gem. Go there.
I've past by dozens of times and always figured this was just a cheap knock off of Subway. Was around for lunch and decided to give them a shot due to the reviews, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly, the prices were good, but most importantly was the quality of their food. Any sandwich shop that slices their meat in house is a place I want to give my business to. The location might raise questions as to quality, but it is well worth checking out.
A nice little gem for Italian Sandwiches When you enter the gast station, at first you wonder if you’re at the right place.. then boom!! Once they start constructing your sandwich, you know you’re going to get an explosion of flavours with heaps of meatyes! They don’t hold back on the meat We tried 2 of their signature s/w Chicken Parmigiano and Portugese Bifana. You get to chose your own toppings and sauces over and above what is already part of the sandwich. These are literally one of the best sandwiches I have had! The texture of the bread and the all the flavours were a party in my mouth! Will definitely return!
I recently moved here and was looking to try a new spot for lunch, I’m glad I checked this place out. The Italian trio sandwich was really tasty, substantial portions especially for the price, and I tried some of their Italian wedding soup as I was feeling under the weather, that didn’t disappoint either. If you’ve got answer tooth, grab a cannoli for dessert, they’re excellent. Overall, a great spot to grab a bite.
Best sandwich I've ever had - not exaggerating. Delicious toppings and sauces like pickled eggplant and pesto. Great service I asked a bunch of questions and they were friendly and helpful. I drove from out of town and wasn't disappointed.Food: 5/5
I never take the time to write reviews but as I eat my Uber order here I am. The prices are amazingly inexpensive, the portions are large. My soup came piping hot and was double what I thought I would get for $5.99. 7.99 pasta is a full portion and garlic bread was enough for me and someone else to be satisfied. WOW best in Ottawa. I will be ordering from here religiously. I’m glad I took the time to scroll the hidden restaurants on the app.
OMG!!! What a sandwich. I had the Roberto’s Italian Trio see pic and it was super tasty fantastic. I highly recommend.
