Good food with an awesome view. Awesome service and a large patio for dining. The menu was simple, a little more exciting than your regular pub food, good quality too. We'd come back for sure!

Great drinks, great food and awesome service! Loved their Moscow mule. They have locally brewed beer. Their pizzas are huge and their orchard burger was great!

My first time trying this place. Went for lunch with my friend and sat on the patio. Our server was friendly and efficient, our food was all correct and best part everything was delicious. Definitely will be going back!

We ordered from Riverside tonight. We live close by and ordered for delivery thinking the food would be fresh when we got it. Wrong. Spinach dip had a hard layer of cheese we couldn’t even dip through maybe just a downfall of ordering instead of getting it fresh. Order was supposed to come with naan bread and chips, we got no chips. $14 for jalapeño poppers and it only comes with 4? The fries with our fish and chips were so dry, hard and stale, they were inedible. My fish had raw, gummy batter. You can see some on the fries.

Beautiful spring afternoon. Liked the menu variety. Our server was very efficient and friendly. Really enjoyed it.

Ordered thin crust pizza tonight for pickup and it was absolutely undercooked dough. The dough was so thin it was like toilet paper and sticking to the box.. went back and the owner was absolutely rude telling us we ordered that and we can’t get money back next time without a receipt, the owner was yelling at us at the bar infront of everyone and whipping around the pizza saying “thin crust thin crust this is what thing crust looks like” then she noticed that it was undercooked and walked away .. ever since new owners I will not be going back, awful customer service and awful food. Should definitely make sure pizza is cooked before serving it and owner should be a good enough owner to realize she was in the wrong.

Once again, great food and staff after a round of golf. Laura B seated us and checked in as we dined along with our server. They work great as a team lol. Blue Cheese burger and Turkey Club were fantastic. Bernie does a great job of hiring friendly people and making great portions of healthy food. The whole menu looks great, will need to keep trying different things till we try them all !!!

More of a dive bar, then a restaurant like it use to be. Food does not match the Description on the menu and when I questioned the waitstaff she said, yeah the owner changed the item but didn’t update the menu. No solution was offered. I unfortunately had to write this terrible review because we reached out to the owner first but got no response. I would like to add that the bartender did show that he cared and tried to assist us over the phone, the owner could learn from him. We were informed that the items were changed so they could save money. Just unfortunate all around. We will never be back. Terrible quality, high prices, add in fruit flies all over our table and disgusting bathrooms. So disappointed. **** Edit in response to the owner. A honest review is not sabotaging a business. I did bring up my concerns to your staff as mentioned above. I also reached out to you privately before I wrote my review. If you do not want hard working paying customers in your business, then what type of patrons are you looking for. Your employees are the ones that informed us that it was your fault that the changes were made and it was to cut costs. How is this my fault.

Most of the pictures posted on these reviews are from the "old" Riverside tavern. It has been sold and the new owner has redone the whole building inside and out and new menu! You must check this place out now...one of the nicest, best places to eat in Chippawa or in the surrounding area for that matter! Chippawa has needed a breathe of fresh air for years and 1 week ago today the void was filled. I've been anxiously waiting to go here to eat after seeing everyone's food posts. Well, tonight was the night and I must say...besides the typical wait of a new place opening up, being lined up out the door and still getting staff and timing in order this place lived up to each and every picture and comment I've seen on facebook. Bernie congrats on the absolutely amazing job you've done with the place. It was an absolute pleasure attending the Riverside Tavern and sampling some of your menu items with a few others. I cant wait to return to try something else! Also thank you Chef Stephen<--super add to the team Berniefor kindly delivering some food to our table and also a congrats to you and your team on the amazing food choice and preparation. If you havnt been yet go with an empty belly...you will not be disappointed!

What a great atmosphere to enjoy my steak dinner. Felt like I was in the T. show Cheers. Umpteen tv screens showing every sport available. Heard about and had to try the Mozza Sticks. They did not disappoint! Will never be able to have regular mozzarella sticks again. The medium rare steak meal was not only melt in your mouth, but the portion size was generous and made to medium rare perfection.
