Spacious roadside park outside of Laurel over the Yellowstone river from the highway, with big growths of cottonwood trees in the camp area provide ample shade throughout the day. Area open though site hookups and restrooms are locked. The size of the trees likely are a safety concern for city managers to prohibit extended stays. Noisy too, beside busy highway. Travelers seeking a shady day spot from I-90 would find parking here, exception of no restrooms.
