Rite Aid

Brand new renovated store from less than a year ago. Same selection and convenient location.

The woman at the checkout was sooo rude. I asked if they had a restroom and she scrunched up her face and said no in a very rude way. I just said thank you and proceeded to shop and as soon as I grabed a shopping cart she gets on the phone and calls security. I dont know what it is about rite aid's in Portland but their customer service is always so bad. I wish they would make that a priority to have better customer service because no one should feel uncomfortable while shopping. The entire experience was just horrible and I dont think I will be going to anymore rite aid's because I've experienced bad customer service at more than one location. Im beginning to think that they dont make it a priority to serve their customers. I've worked in retail before. Safeway to be exact and at my orientation they made it very clear that customer service is "key". Even gave us a script to recite to the customers. We were required to ask if anyone needed help and greet each customer that came in. Im not saying that this is not a requirement for rite aid but it does not seem like they make it a priority to serve their customers. Its a bummer because I love rite aid but I shouldn't feel uncomfortable when I shop so I will just go elsewhere.

Rudest cashier I've seen. Makes me not want to shop here anymore. When Rite aid upgrades this store, please upgrade on staff as well.

Friendly, clean, very nice layout. They are accommodating.
