Actually 2 places in one. The Cafe has simple food and snacks for a quick lunch. There is an entire second floor for seating which is easily overlooked. The gift shop is quite large and has what you would expect in a park. Bathrooms were very clean and nice. We were actually able to get a cell signal at the front door, the only place on the entire crater where the hones worked.

Only an okay visit as all we wanted was a hot chocolate, but the machine threw a wobbly. It's also very commercial compared to the other national park sites we have visited.

The Rim Village Café and Gift shop is the only establishment in crater lake national park where you you can purchase food and drinks, alcoholic or non during the winter season. The building is cozy and warm, perfect for relaxing after playing in the snow. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, if you have a question they have an answer. The food is decent but is a bit on the high side for prices, although considering the location of the building and the slow seasons it is understandable. Over all if you are visiting crater lake make a stop at the gift shop, at least to warm up and visit the up stairs exhibit room/ lake viewing room.

Quaint little Cafe and gift shop, one of the only places I know that sells postcards in bulk.

The food was lackluster at best, especially for the exorbitant prices. As a vegetarian, I was hoping to grab a Mediterranean sandwich but evidently they only make a certain number for the day and when they are gone they are gone. The "veggie" sandwich needs quotation marks because it was cheese on a roll for $8.25. Lettuce and tomato were nowhere to be found. Drinks in the "cooler" were room temp. The other people in my party couldn't get their first choices either since they'd run out of, well...everything. Except cheese on a roll, of course. The gift shop was nice. Quick hint, if there are no tables to be found downstairs, there's a bunch more up the stairs.
