Ridgeview Delano Clinic & Urgent Care

Very misleading "& Urgent Care" Went in to get my throat looked at. As I was promptly examined by a doctor, he didn't take any swabs or cultures. Simply told me to go across the street to Walgreens and buy some Ibuprofen. 7 months later I got a bill for $197 because they only bill as a primary care and not urgent care so my insurance company denied the coverage. If I would have known this going in, I would have gone elsewhere. I contacted them directly to try to resolve the issue. They are currently "reviewing" my 2 minute, $197 bill visit. Will keep you posted on the resolution.

The staff is very professional and courteous. My husband and I are impressed with the excellent care that we have received both at office appointments and in urgent care.

While our regular doctor, Dr Runkle, works out of Ridgeview's Shoreview clinic, we have been to the urgent care in Delano several times(we live here). My kiddos have been there for multiple things: throat cultures, rash, fever, pneumonia, and stitches. I always call ahead to find out the wait time but it has never been over 15 minutes which for urgent care is awesome. The staff was always great. They are compassionate and patient with my crabby and hurting little ones which puts them at ease. Fantastic care.

They told me they problem was anxiety related. I told them i don't want an antidepressant (ssri) because of personal reasons and they said they were prescribing me a non ssri anti anxiety med. When i got to the pharmacy, however, i found out that they had prescribed an ssri that had no anti anxiety use. This clinic does not listen to patience at all. I would recommend a voodoo doctor on lsd before recommending this place.

Dr. Sorenson is awesome! She is very caring and knowledgeable. All of the support staff has been great as well. Top notch clinic!
