This Ricky's restaurant saved our life when we were trapped in Hope. They were the only restaurant that still had power and was serving food when the power was lost in all of Hope. The staff were extremely kind and supportive of all the stranded people and worked non-stop all day and night to help serve people. The owner was extremely generous and quickly found a way to serve as many people they could with the limited ingredients they had due to an unforeseen spike in demand. The food was great and delicious and the service was fantastic especially considering the restaurant was at max capacity and they didn't have enough staff again due to an unforeseen spike in clients on a random Sunday afternoon. Every night they opened the restaurant until midnight just to let people stick around to stay warm and enjoy drinks as many of us had no place to go and we're so cold sleeping in the car. My family will forever feel grateful that the owner was so kind to us and all the stranded people. Thank you the Ricky's crew!!
Very friendly staff and excellent food. We had a delicious meal and great experience. First time here and won't be the last. Highly recommendedFood: 5/5
Great stop on the road. They were short staffed and the food took long but service was great and food was delicious, loved the low carb options, very rare to find.
Nice atmosphere. The service was good. The food was basic but found the potatoes a bit dry mashed/ whipped but the pork cutlet was awesome. The red cabbage was warm also.Food: 4/5
Took my parents there as they like Ricky's. The portions were quite large and my parents were able to make a second meal out of it. I was warned against ordering the fish and chips but did so anyways. Not the best fish with a soggy batter. The rest of the food was good though l.
Food was AWESOME . Service not so good. I was the only customer. Waited a long time for the food. Once the food came the waitress didn’t return for a quality check, or refill on drink, I actually had to get up and go over to the bar where the waitress was visiting with the staff who had come off shift.
This is a great restaurant . Especially for truck drivers who often stop here due to the accessibility. This restaurant is located on the same property as silver creek travel center. I have been quite pleased with the service, meal and atmosphere each time.Food: 5/5
Rude service, made us feel like us being there was such a massive inconvenience to the waitress… had to sit and listen to the waitress and the kitchen staff arguing loudly which was super uncomfortable. The hollandaise sauce on my food was curdled and separating, the avocados were brown and tasted rotten, which they tried to hide under the sauce. And both me and my husbands hashbrowns were so undercooked they were crunchy. I’m not the type to ask for our money back, live and learn, but considering we live right down the street we will never be back
Good service at the patio. It can get busy. Fish and Chips were spot on. Pub style tartar sauce was nice. And the breeze was amazing.
Horrible customer service from serving staff and menu items not available. Went to Rickys Grill in Hope for grandson's birthday dinner. They had no potatoes for Schnitzel. Just fried foods or tomato based meals. Waitress forgot to come back to bring my tea and take my order. Waitress didn't come anywhere near our table until the rest of my party received their meal. At that time I asked for my tea ordered with everyone else's meal and I ordered dessert but even that wasnt served until everyone else finished their complete meals including their desserts! I requested dessert to go. It was slopped in a paper take out bowl. I left the restaurant hungry and disappointed. Dietary restrictions: Very limited menu. Not much besides deep fried foods and burgers. This restaurant is regularly out if menu items
