Ricky's Country Restaurant

Great brunch here! Their brunch platter is monsterous and tasty. Chicken tenders were hot, most and tender, waffle was cooked to perfection as well as the bacon and soft poached eggs. Quote the meal. The host and server were prompt and very friendly. Could not have asked for better service.

First time visiting, we haven’t lived in mission long and didn’t want to go all out fancy for our anniversary, we decided to try Ricky’s and was absolutely thrilled with our service as well as food! Our server Susie was a total sweetheart! I see many complaints about places to eat in Mission but Honestly the food was fresh, perfectly prepared and delicious! Definitely will be returning and highly recommend Ricky’s. Now we gotta come back and try their breakfast next time

The lady took our fries when we still had one left. So much lost potential. RIP little dude. Edit: After the response from the owner I remember that the one large fish in the tank at the front of the store looked very polite. He or she deserves better so I am increasing my rating by a star. Thank you.

The four of us came in for lunch after church. We got seated and had menus in our hands quite quickly. Within seconds we were asked what we wanted. We asked for more time, and she left us for a minute, and then came back again. We made a hasty decision, and settled on the Lumberjack Poutines, Chicken Tenders, and Tomato Basil Soup. However, our server had taken off and left us for fifteen minutes. Finally we got someone's attention and placed our orders. The food came all at once which I appreciated and gave back a lost star. The servings were adequate, and the food was hot. When the server popped around to see how we were doing my friend asked for more water. She never brought it until the next time she came around to ask how we were doing, and we said we wanted more water. That time she brought it. Ricky’s is much like many restaurants in Mission, and I wasn't impressed. These post c19 servers will eventually get good at the game, but for me it's a pass.

One off the best places I have eaten in Canada. The fried shrimp po'boy was amazing. Waitress was excellent with the children.

Stopped in for a late lunch and the place was quite busy. We were seated after a short wait and were served fairly quickly for our drink order. The waitress was personable and seemed genuinely happy to be helping out. The food served for the most part seemed to be typical family faire you would find at thousands of spots. They had some special pulled pork items on the menu and I tried the pulled pork eggs Benedict. Turns out it was really good. Would I go back just to go there? It’s a hard one to answer as I have only been in Mission a couple times. I guess the answer would be a yes but only if I was hungry and standing in the parking lot. I don’t mean this In a bad way, I would like to try different places next time I’m in Mission. Should you go? Sure thing! Give it a whirl.

Hostess dropped an entire tray of ICE COLD water on my back. I was shivering the entire meal and had no change of clothes. Quite frankly this ruined my evening and weekend. Now you might think any restaurant with a minimum level of decency, respect, and value for their customers would compensate for this extreme discomfort. But NO, not Ricky's in Mission. We had to pay full price for our entire meal and received no other drinks/food/vouchers. I had to sit there and eat my meal with an ice cold, wet, head of hair and shirt. I am just disappointed that this place represents the service industry and I wasted time from my life travelling here from Richmond. If I could give this place 0 stars I would, but I doubt they will even read this review let alone act on it due to their incompetency. I would be embarrassed if my name was Ricky. DO NOT EAT HERE!

Worst service around. Over 1 hour to get order of onion rings . Then about another 15 min to get our food. Poutine gravy was chunky and cold. About 10 other tables with 2-3 ppl in restaurant at the time we were there.all they said is we are busy but they could stand behind the bar and talk for 10-15 . Manager didn’t seem to care when we brought up our concerns .. will never return to this location

I can not say enough about this restaurant. You notice immediately how clean it is and how friendly the staff are. The owner greeted us right away, sat us- as we sat a few ppl in our group didn't want a booth, they prefer chairs, he said no problem and put us at a huge table ..we had drinks brought right away to us! Our server Cassidy was one of the best servers I've ever had...i think she should train more servers to do it like her. A few of us at the table have been servers, so dare I say we are picky! She's super friendly, funny, and on the ball. The food was honestly some of the best food we've all had in ages. Hot, yummy, and at great price point. I can't wait to go back.. Thank you for such a fantastic experience. You all were exactly what we needed : fun & relaxing good time

Good People, Decent Ambience and Decent food... This place reminds me of Denny's in the US but with much better ambience and service.. Ordered a breakfast special consisting of Two Fried Eggs, Brown Bread, Fries and Chorizo sausage.. The bread was tasty, the eggs were done properly, the fries were crispy / very tasty and the Chorizo Sausage was well done.. The staff was very very kind and nice... Price point was very reasonable.. Will definitely return to try more selections..
