This is like a sleepy restaurant, understandably so coz we went mid afternoon. The food is ok, maybe try different food from their menu.
My last review was 3 years ago. We finally made it back out for another lovely dinner. The restaurant was very clean, the waitress was very pleasant and much kudos to the chefs today. We don't go out much, but revisited for my hubbys 40th and I am so glad we decided to come back here. Thankyou to all the staff for providing us with fresh delicious food, great service and just overall an enjoyable experience.
Love the festive, friendly atmosphere the day was November 28th, 2022. We experienced accommodating, friendly and prompt service. The server was delightful Food was tasty and satisfying. We were celebrating there with family togetherness, and it was a wholesome experience.
If it was possible to rate a zero that is what I would give it. This is the case of a woman dining alone. The waitress led me to a table for four in an open area. Not three steps away was a quiet booth for two. I asked - politely- if I could be seated there and she told me no, that is fine. I tried to tell her I was uncomfortable being seated so out in the open. She didn’t bother even trying to listen, just rudely said “too bad “. The restaurant had a few patrons, not particularly busy. It is the lack of any attempt at customer service that put me off. This is the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. I am going to the nice little place in town to spend my money now and for the foreseeable future. Crappiest service on the Sunshine Coast.
I ordered the bacon tomatoes Benny and it was kinda good. I Wanted the avocado Benny but they run out, should have just got the traditional one, maybe next time.

We weren’t a fan in the beginning but lately it’s improved. Last visit we had the Benedict and omelette. Food was hot, well presented and tasty.
Having a medical condition which doesn’t allow me to eat large portions, asked politely if I could order off the kids menu. Hard no but offered smaller portion of adult menu item for the same price? Losing a customer who has a medical condition is insane to me but maybe in the future the staff will be more accommodating to those with disabilities. Came to village restaurant instead and was treated with A+ customer service

We ordered on Saturday night. Was advised through online ordering it would take 22 minutes. We came 24 minutes later... Went back to area staying.. Open our soup literally 10 minutes after we got to our room and the broccoli cheddar soup was congealed it was so not warm. Clearly it had been sitting and waiting... We also ordered a Caesar salad which consisted of Brown lettuce being thrown into a container with some store bought salad dressing. we paid $14 for a salad we had to throw out And had to force ourselves to down a few tablespoons of soup which may have been good if it was warm. What a waste of time and money..
