I highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent food, delicious drinks, great location, prompt service, and beautiful ocean view of Davis Bay. I really enjoyed my dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and the courteous staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make my evening memorable. This is the place to go on the sunshine coast. Thank you so much.
It was our last night on Sunshine Coast and we decided to check out this restaurant just beside our accommodation, The Oceanside a coastal hotel. The service from the staff were excellent, very warm and welcoming! And best of all the food did not disappoint! The steak was absolutely bang on, beef caparcio had a slight twist on it - wish it was slight thinner so it’s easy to chew and without the bread, the simple salad accompanied the beef slices well! The chicken wings were real spicy good for those who are a hot spicy lover im guessing it was the Louisiana sauce as we requested for a mixed of flavour but wasn’t served, tho I was looking forward to try the other sauces as I can’t handle spicy too well. The prawns appetiser was also very flavourful, a lil hint of tangy and went well with baguette! Seafood bowl was a good sharing starter too! a complimentary cake slice for bday celebration which ended the lovely dinner memorable at a homey-restaurant being far away from home, with coastal vibes!
I organized our company Dakota Ridge Builders Christmas party at Joe's and we had the BEST time. From making a reservation and coordinating setup to dinner, drinks and service, the team at Joe's on the Beach hit it out of the park. Great vibe, amazing service and delicious food and drinks. A special thanks to Amanda, Denise, Josh and Mariano for making our event one to remember .
didnt end up grabbing a picture of our dinner cuz it was too yummy for me to stop eating, but wow this place is awesome. my boyfriend and i ordered the calamari karaage and duck confit poutine to share and wowww, both were amazing!! i ordered the daily fish tacos for myself and it was suuper yummy! my boyfriend ordered the mussels, which he really enjoyed. i didnt catch the name of our server but she was really helpful and friendly and gave us a good wine suggestion!! to finish off we got a dessert cocktail and boy was it good. a really good way to end our night!! :
Short businesses trip up the Sunshine Coast. I decided to try out Joes… so good I ended up coming back 6 times , and brought friends. Excellent in all things, food, ambiance, staff so friendly, all genuine smiles . The view to the ocean. The owner is delightfully friendly! The chef is fabulously good. Thanks everyone there for a wonderful experience each day I came to Joes
My son and new daughter in law got married last month and the dinner was at Joes on the beach. The food was absolutely delicious, the service bang on and the whole atmosphere was perfect. Thank you so much for the lovely start for my son and his wife’s new start in life. Love you Ford and Savanna!!
Heated booths, welcoming staff, a glass of wine, or a cocktail, with a great view of Davis Bay are just a start. My wife had chicken strips which she enjoyed. I decided on the ahi tuna sandwich, which was probably the most delicious sandwich I have tasted in awhile. The tuna was cooked to perfection. We will make another visit to Joe's on the Beach.
We were quite surprised by the reviews, to be honest. I found the portions to be very small, and the prices are some of the highest on the coast. I had the burger and it was very plain. Brown iceberg lettuce just thrown on there. Fries didn't have any color on them, and were somewhat cold, but also tasted like burnt oil somehow. Soggy margarine soaked buns that weren't even toasted, and the pickle on top had soaked the whole thing, and my wife had the chicken burger, which didn't make any sense at all?? Large chunks of raw cabbage that just didn't work with the sandwich. Seemed understaffed and the waitstaff was super stressed but seemed nice. And at one point we heard someone from the back screaming angrily for "service hellllooo!!!" Anyone we know had a similar experience. Drinks were OK. But sorry, It wasn't even "coast good".
Absolutely fantastic food, great quality, value, and service. We ordered their pickup Thanksgiving dinner and were blown away. Huge servings exactly as Thanksgiving dinners should be and tasted just like a homemade family dinner. We will definitely be back!
Best seafood in Sechelt! We came for lobster fest and it didn’t disappoint! My steak and lobster was perfectly cooked. We also had the mushroom caps, and mussels. Server was kind and attentive. Kid-friendliness: They have chicken strips for kids. Dietary restrictions: I’m gluten free and it was nice to see that most of the breading was gluten free including the chicken sandwich, calamari and the chicken strips.
