Best Chinese food in all of BC. Generous staff, million-dollar view, and incredibly delicious food. Will definitely be back whenever I’m in Sechelt.
Really good food, large portions, and lovely, attentive service. Hopefully more locals & visitors find out about this place. We had hot & sour soup, cashew chicken, sweet & sour pork, and more and enjoyed every dish.
Best Chinese on the sunshine coast And best view... with many seats available. The summer is great for people watching! Can't recommend enough! The combos are really big too Parking: Lots of free parking at the hotel
It's a solid 3 stars - as it's hard to rate Chinese restaurants coming from an Asian heritage. The restaurant certainly delivers solid western Chinese food. They have a decent combo menu with the requisite spring roll, chicken fried rice, and main course option. If you're a little more daring give the wor wonton soup or ma po tofu a try. Tried the Yangzhou fried rice and Pan fried pork dumplings this time - the fried rice was ok and the dumplings one of the best dim sum options on the menu. They do have red vinegar and chili sauce on request - thumbs up for that. Be aware that when ordering tea you won't receive the usual jasmine or green tea options. We received vanilla bourbon - unrequested- as the option of the day - which is a bold choice with dim sum. It was tasty but slightly off-culture but hey - it worked for a relaxing Saturday afternoon. 3 stars for the owners trying to do something different, and having fresh ingredients. Less than 4 or 5 as it just doesn't compare to real Chinese food - but not bad for western style.
Great food, friendly staff. Prime rib is awesome, and the Asian food is the best in Sechelt. Highly recommend.
Incredible view. Had French Toast for breakfast and loved it. Thank you to our lovely server as well. She was very pleasant and absolutely made our day.
We had fried rice and a prawn dish that was awsome, we are still looking for sechuan spicy on the coast. Doesnt existFood: 4/5
Best restaurant on the Coast. It is wonderful to have Asian specialties here. I had Salt and Pepper Shrimp, which was actually more like deep fried shrimp with peppers. It was fantastic. And Sichuan green beans with pork. The hot peppers added a lot. Extremely good.
One star is way too much. New owners, no fish and chips anymore and the most horrible Chinese food I have ever had anywhere in the world. So bad we threw it out without eating it. $145.00 for fat and grizzle, disgusting food. This was supposed to be a special dinner for a very sick friend on her birthday. Shame on you for serving this and calling it food!
This restaurant has a new chef who specializes in Asian cuisine. As someone who has travelled to Chengdu a few times, I loved the Sichuan specialties, e.g. green beans with pork. The kung pow chicken was good, but didn’t have peanuts as I expected. It was great nonetheless. I loved the salt and pepper shrimp, which consists of jumbo shrimp deep fried with peppers. Prices may seem a bit high but portions are large so it is a good value. Great restaurant.
