Ricky's All Day Grill

Stopped at Ricky's on our way to Calgary from Regina. Had some of the spring menu items - they were delish!! The Cinnamon Waffles are a must try. Loved the ambience, menu and most of all the hospitality! I would recommend Ricky's to anyone who wants to have a good portion , value for money breakfast/brunch/lunch/anytime of the day dine-in!

Family meal for early-dinner seated around 4:30pm. Server was very kind, patient, and helpful. Did not get appies or dessert. Everyone was satisfied and happy with their meal. Large portions. I was extremely happy about my Wiener Schnitzel limited/seasonal menu. Kid-friendliness: They have booster seats for little ones. Parking: A lot of parking behind the building. Dietary restrictions: They're very accommodating with dietary restrictions, and forth-coming about the dishes that the kitchen cannot change.

We have now eaten here three times and the quality and service has been flawless. Burger, wrap and a club were the choices and they were delish! Side salads blended greens, tomatoe and cranberries and the club had generous layers of crisp bacon and juicy turkey. Not much for ambience and the dining room needs a coat of paint to brighten a drab interior but we aren't too particular if the meal rocks...well done Ricky's management and staff!

Our table of 7 arrived on Saturday night after being turned away from another restaurant that could not accommodate us and was warmly welcomed by the single waitress serving that night. She had a full restaurant of about 30 tables. She set expectations that she would be back for our order in about ten minutes. She had the best attitude and never rushed but swiftly served every table. She refilled our drinks and served us like we were the only table. The food was very good. Our waitress was amazing. We were one of the last tables to leave. She didn’t have time to clean up every table and you could tell the restaurant had been full as every table still had glassware. As a former travel agent, I have eating in hundreds of restaurants in cities all over the world. This was by far the best server I have ever seen. Impressed!

Visited this location on a recommendation from family. I wasn't disappointed. The service was friendly, the place was clean, and the breakfast was pretty good. The pancakes did remind me of pancakes made from a pre-made mix however. This would be the only thing I would pick on at this place. Overall, a good experience. I would not hesitate to visit this location again.

1st time at Ricky's. Found the restaurant clean and fresh. Staff were very friendly and personable. Seated and server was right at the table. Orders were taken and beverages arrived quickly. Breakfast was great. Food was tasty and hot.

We had Rickys 2 nights in a row. Food was hot and steaming. Cook did an amazing job. Young waiter/server in the suite that is sized for a man larger doesn't understand what a "starter" is. He delivered our start with our mains. Next day we sat in the bar side. We were served by a women and she was very through. Food was just as good as the night before. I would recommend this rickys.

My Dad and I stopped at Ricky's for breakfast, and we were extremely happy that we did! I had a hunch right from the landscaping outside that our experience would be positive. Would a restauraunt pay attention to making their flowers look immaculate and then serve so-so food? I didn't think so...and I guessed right! The food was incredible, our server was fun and friendly. We both had the waffle big breakfast, and would easily recommend it as long as you have a good appetite. It came with three eggs, three pieces of yummy maple bacon, three sausages, half a waffle and stuffed hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were really neat, they were layered shredded potatoes with cheese and onion, and they just had so much flavour! Everything was cooked perfectly, and we'll always eat here for breakfast again when passing through Medicine Hat.

Stopped in at Subway and discovered they were not seating anyone only takeout. So we decided to try Ricky's next door. My friend and I split a meal California Chicken Sandwich and substituted the normal fries for the Rosemary/Parm Truffle Fries which were excellent with the lemon aioli dip. The Chicken Sandwich was delicious with maple bacon, pepper jack cheese guacamole, lettuce and tomato on a toasted multigrain bun. We also split a sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream which is to die for. We both felt the meal was so flavorful, and really sparked our taste buds. Definitely will go back again. We had heard the food was expensive and they have very pricy coffee. We had plenty of food splitting one order and that way the pricing was reasonable. We did not have coffee....LOL

I love this place. They have the best close to home cooked food. Service is always great and prices are reasonable. We have had the Roast Beef dinner as take out a couple of times. Generous portions of beef, delicious yorkshire pudding, potatoes, gravy and vegetables. Definatley recommend them.
