We seen this place on Google and decided we must give it a try. I'm so glad we did I feel like we hit the food jackpot. The gentleman who owns the small unique food establishment gets his ingredients locally and makes his own olive oils. He welcomed us in with open arms, explained the menu to a T and how things are prepared. The bread and olive oil is amazing I think I could have ate a whole piece of bread with the olive oil. I got the lasagna and my boyfriend got the ravioli. The best food I've had so far, for dessert we both got the tiramisu. Absolutely amazing. Everyone needs to eat here when they are visiting Nice. You will not be disappointed. And yes it does take a while to get your food but it's all prepared as ordered. Nothing is precooked. So therefore enjoy your time in Nice, learn about the history because he will tell you and just enjoy the moment. I'll be back here for sure.
The best restaurant owner in France! He was so friendly and spent time explaining all the dishes one by one. The menu is very small meaning it is high quality. His main business is Olive oil which you will try during dinning here. Only a few tables with one sitting and it's obvious he doesn't do it for money just for the love of olive oil, which shows in the service and the food quality. Thank you to the chef she was also very lovely. Really disappointed that we only found this gem on our last day in Nice
Absolutely magical, unique place - excellent food, very welcoming family atmosphere, and a great knowledgeable host to guide you through the meals. A true gem to be protected at all cost. And by the way, you absolutely must try their fresh olive oil, it's out of this world!Food: 5/5
Believe everything you’re reading here about the owners passion, the quality of the food, the olive oil and the hospitality. I’m so glad we managed to get a table here today for lunch given we didn’t have a reservation and we saw countless other potential diners turned away. It you have your heart set on eating here do yourself a favour and book or come early for lunch. If you come too late you will miss out and trust me you don’t want that. This was the perfect place to finish off our short visit in France and our last day in Nice. To the owner - thank you for an incredibly memorable lunch. I hope we cross paths again!
The food was AMAZING but the olive oil was even more amazing than the food. I can’t recommend this place enough. Owners of the place treat customers as if they are guests at their house, very warm and sincere but humble at the same time. The ingredients were also unbelievably fresh. I wish they were open for the dinner time as well. What a pitty my vacation is a bit short but I’d definitely come to Nice again just for this place.
Niçois perfection. It’s both a shop specializing in French artisanal olive oil sold here and online and a restaurant pairing them with a small number of fresh, local, and delicious dishes. The couple that runs it are kind and friendly. The restaurant is charmingly attractive. And it helps that it is completely in the shade and has a slight breeze during lunchtime. This was my favorite meal in Nice and I’ve been here for a month trying all sorts of restaurants.
A truly spectacular dining experience in Nice. Superb ingredients and flavors, and the absolute best olive oils. What is more, Mr. Oliviera is most kind and his wife, the only cook, is sheer perfection. Together, they make an unforgettable, unparalleled duo in a heartwarmingly sentimental space. Merci!
A pleasant surprise during our visit to Nice. The food is really delicious, homemade and you can feel the love put into it. The owners are charming, he is an absolute oil fanatic and his passion is infectious. I highly recommend it. Special mention to the pumpkin lasagne!
Lovely little restaurant. I liked the location as you get to people watch, the staff were very kind and chatty, the olive oils were delish and the meals were very lovely and hearty meals. Overall an enjoyable experience.
A place where the food is amazing and the hosts are awesome. Bonus: we get to flavour the olive oils along with some warm bread. We will surely be back the next time we visit Nice.
