Portions were huge. I mean massive. I didn't find my food all that great for the price. Maybe I just got the wrong thing. Probably should have not gone with Samon. Honestly I think I just came in at a bad time, the waitress clearly wanted to go home. Plus there was a gun on one of the walls. It doesn't go with anything else or even the style of the restraunt. It was just... there. The whole experince was just uncomftorble, but again, pretty sure that won't happen to everyone.
Service: Horrible service! Our waitress was not welcoming and rude. Her name if Im not mistaken is Mariane. She was very impatient while taking the order and barely in the mood to answer any of our questions. When the food came she started tossing the plates on the tables. Food: The food overall was good and the portions were good for the price. I would appreciate it if they make more effort on the presentation of the small mezze plates.
The chicken and beef brochettes were perfectly cooked! The calamari was excellent. Service was very good. Great lunch and all 3 of us finished every morsel. This was a challenge as the portions are generous.
Great portions at a good price. Delicious and authentic middle eastern cuisine. The staff is hit or miss. Was kind of awkward trying to pay and watching what I perceived to be one of the manager's talking down to a waitress. Whether she was in the right or not, should have waited until customers left. Not a turn off, would still go back, but definitely a suggestion for improvement!
Our favorite Lebanese restaurant in the NDG/Monkland part of the city. We normally get the machawi platter, which has a lot of variety, and several types of kebabs brochettes. Also, their baba ganoush is the best I've ever had. Really smoky and delicious. Can be a little slow when crowded, but it's friendly and good food for the price.
We got two sets of the large meal which includes all three type of brochettes, rice, salad and fries. It was more than enough for 6 adults and four children two of which are very young. The price is good and the food was excellent. All the brochettes were really good and well marinated or seasoned and the salad was excellent.
Been going many years to this amazing local & family owned restaurant! Delicious Lebanese food! I recommend the filet mignon brochettes with fattoush salad & fries with some hummus...so good ! Excellent service! Great prices! Highly recommended!!
Decent food, but far from great. The service is usually very friendly and some things on the menu are better than others. The kebab brochettes and hummus are usually a safe bet. Everything else is just OK. The interior renovation is nice.
Great restaurant! This is a great restaurant for Middle Eastern food and reasonable prices. If you decide to go during the week-end, you have to reserve as the place is small. In the late spring and summer the front terrace is open, provided the weather is good. Great lunch deals.
Service was slow. An hour to get food on the table. Food was bland. Third time going and i called ahead and asked if they had falafels tonight as they have ran out before, get there and no falafels and they also ran out of other dishes. The excuse is they had too many Uber eats orders. So for a vegan, if your good with a small plate of side salads, where it looked like they dropped a spoonful of babaganouch, hummus, and 2 vine leaves and a little taboulé, not worth having a cold plate for dinner for $18. This will be my last time going there.
