First time trying this place, I walked in to a big smile, friendly welcome. Couldn’t wait to try their man2oushe, and wow I am not disappointed. Hit the spot, delicious and authentic. Can’t wait to bring my family and friends. Loved the decor too, took me back to my childhood growing up in Beirut. Thank you Lulu!!!!
Delicious and satisfying middle eastern food spot. Very high quality and fresh. This spot definitely had lots of visitors and friendly service. There’s also tables in the back to eat your lunch. Wish this spot was available in Toronto!
One of the best Manakish and chicken Shawarma wraps I’ve ever had. They don’t give you a ton of food like other places but taste is far superior. The manager there was extremely friendly.
11/10! SOOOO GOOODDD and SO authentic. The nicest staff ever, perfectly priced, good decor and insanely delicious food. Fav restaurant in all MTL for sure.
I finally got to try Lulu Épicerie, and OMG what a gem! From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed by friendly staff who take you on a quick trip to Lebanon as they guide you through the menu and suggest their most famous treats. The place reeks of freshness, from the vibrant colors of the salad bar, and the tender and juicy meats to the fluffy homemade pita breads... ugh what a treat! More specifically, I had the chef's favorite: manakeesh with all the toppings, shawarma wrap, and a fatouch salad. Let me tell you something about that salad: it is even better than the one at Damas #sorrynotsorry in it's magical simplicity that allows one to taste every single ingredient in there for a burst of flavor. Definitely a must try, and I wish the team much success in this exciting endeavor!
7/10 shawarma 3/10 batata sandwich vegetarian option Best thing: The pitas! Super authentic and so incredibly layered. The Batata sandwich was severely underwhelming. It’s just potatoes and coleslaw. It really did not taste like much, and it was $9 which felt steep for a thin sandwich. Beef Shawarma was apparently really tasty. They are thin, so order 2. It is fun that they import authentic lebanese products. The mango juice is delicious!! you can’t really sit inside so be prepared for a little picnic
Staff is rude & the food is way overpriced. I paid 42$ for dry beef and chicken skewers. The vegetable skewers are not even cooked. Super disappointed in my experience
I had a delivery through Uber Eats. The sheesh tawok was very extra dry, and the fries look like two day old and was re-fried.
Had a chicken shawarma and a beef shawarma today, meat was juicy and flavourful. The markouk bread was super fresh and perfectly crispy on the outside. Service was also terrific, will for sure return to try more things!Recommended dishesSandwich
Flavour was decent, charcoal grill great but way too expensive for what you get. $11+tax for a skinny chicken pita wrap. Competitors offer the same from $7-8 range....
